  • Patent number: 4878258
Abstract: An energy saving covering module includes a central body portion having a pair of spaced apart walls defining an interior space containing insulating material. A first flange extends from the peripheral edges of the central body portion. A second flange can extend from either the central body portion or the outer peripheral edge of the first flange for overlying the first flange on an adjacent covering module to form an infiltration barrier against the transmission of heat energy and water vapor. The second flange can be either symmetrical or asymmetrical with respect to the first flange. A symmetrical or an asymmetrical third flange can extend from the central body portion on the opposite side of the first flange from the second flange and cooperate with the first flange of an adjacent covering module to form an infiltration barrier. The module is formed of flexible material which can be waterproof and any suitable fastener can be utilized to attach the modules together.

  • Patent number: 4631765
Abstract: A covering module is formed of a pair of sheets of flexible material superposed and connected along adjacent marginal edges, leaving at least one opening, and a strip of flexible material is connected to the marginal edges of one of the sheets with the sheets being turned inside out. Stuffing material is then inserted through the opening into the interior of the module, and connection of the sheets and strip at a location interior of the marginal edges thereby closes the opening. Fasteners are attached to the marginal edges to permit detachable connection of the modules to form quilts, sleeping bags, window, wall ceiling or floor coverings, and the like.

  • Patent number: 4025946
Abstract: A method of generating graphic designs from a light source by scanning the light source to generate a video signal, generating signals representing parameters of a raster signal and generating a raster signal from the parameter signals. The method further includes the steps of generating a modified video signal from the video signal and the raster signal, displaying the modified video signal as a visual display and reproducing the visual display as the graphic design. The system for performing the method includes a light box which is scanned by a television camera to generate the video signal. A special purpose computer is programmed with the parameters for defining the size, shape, position and structure of a raster signal which is then generated. The video signal and the raster signal are combined by the computer to generate the modified video signal to a display means such as a cathode ray tube. A still camera is utilized to photographically record the displayed signal as the graphic design.
