  • Publication number: 20240115195
Abstract: Apparatus and methods provide compliance management tools such as for respiratory pressure therapy. In some versions, a respiratory pressure therapy system may include one or more processors, such as of a data server, configured to communicate with a computing device and/or a respiratory pressure therapy device. The respiratory pressure therapy device may be configured to deliver respiratory pressure therapy to a patient for a session. The computing device may be associated with the patient. The processor(s) may be further configured to compute a therapy quality indicator of the session from usage data relating to the session. The therapy quality indicator may be a number derived from contributions of a plurality of usage variables for the session in the usage data. The processor(s) may be further configured to present, such as by transmitting, the therapy quality indicator to the computing device. The therapy quality indicator may promote patient compliance.

  • Publication number: 20240081658
Abstract: The invention provides a neck-worn sensor (referred to herein as the ‘necklace’) that is a single, body-worn system that measures the following parameters from an ambulatory patient: heart rate, pulse rate, pulse oximetry, respiratory rate, temperature, thoracic fluid levels, stroke volume, cardiac output, and a parameter sensitive to blood pressure called pulse transit time. From stroke volume, a first algorithm employing a linear model can estimate the patient's pulse pressure. And from pulse pressure and pulse transit time, a second algorithm, also employing a linear algorithm, can estimate systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure. Thus, the necklace can measure all five vital signs along with hemodynamic parameters. It also includes a motion-detecting accelerometer, from which it can determine motion-related parameters such as posture, degree of motion, activity level, respiratory-induced heaving of the chest, and falls.

  • Publication number: 20190236966
Abstract: According to some embodiments, a centralized registry data store may contain electronic records that represent movement plan contracts for Unmanned Vehicles (“UVs”). A centralized registry platform may receive information about a potential movement plan contract for a UV and dynamically create a potential multi-dimensional, time-indexed volume representing the potential movement plan contract. The centralized registry platform may then automatically compare the potential multi-dimensional, time-indexed volume with another volume representing another movement plan contract that was previously registered with the centralized registry platform. Based on a result of the comparison, the centralized registry platform may dynamically register the potential movement plan contract in the centralized registry data store.

  • Publication number: 20170084195
Abstract: The present disclosure features novel methods and systems of using a computer system to facilitate improvement of a weight management intervention. In one embodiment, a method of improving a weight management intervention comprises receiving, by an analysis agent executing on a processor, a daily weight measurement of a patient enrolled in the weight management intervention. A short term period of adherence or non-adherence to the weight management intervention is detected based on the daily weight measurement and at least one previous daily weight measurement. A cause of the short term period of non-adherence is identified. Based on the cause, the weight management intervention can be modified in response. Short-term detection and response to adherence and non-adherence is extremely useful in promoting greater adherence to a weight management intervention, and through greater adherence leading to greater weight loss, lower drop out, greater sustainability of weight loss and greater participant satisfaction.
