  • Publication number: 20070094615
Abstract: Thumbnails of pages of a key document are arranged sequentially according to a page order in a row. Thumbnails of pages of a target document are arranged sequentially according to a page order in a row parallel to the row of the key document. A key page of the key document is compared with each page of the target document. When a page of the target document that is most similar to the key page is found, the row of the target document is shifted in a horizontal direction so that the page of the target document that is most similar to the key page is positioned next to the key page.

  • Publication number: 20070039709
Abstract: The present invention provides a manufacturing method of high precision titanium compressor wheel in which by removing pads attached on an entire surface entirely as a machining allowance in manufacturing process, dimensional accuracy at the time of manufacturing is intensified, and correction work of dynamic balance (rotation balance) is simplified or omitted so as to improve yield of products and suppress boosting of manufacturing cost. The outer peripheral face of a front cast boss portion of a cast titanium product is fixed with a chuck of lathe. A plurality of receiving plates projecting from the lathe are positioned between respective cast blades and front ends thereof are pressed against a disc-like large-diameter front end face formed on a rear half portion of a cast core portion. With a large-diameter front end face of the cast core portion and the outer peripheral face of the front cast boss portion as reference plane, the cast titanium product is held by the chuck and receiving plates and rotated.

  • Patent number: 7167823
Abstract: Paired image information and text information correlated to each other are retrieved as information sets. Frequency information on words used in text is extracted from text information in a group of information sets, and text information features are extracted based on frequency information. Text features are used to lay out information sets in a virtual space such that similar pieces of text are located close to each other, and images are displayed at those positions. Further, important words are extracted from those words extracted from text information in a group of information sets, and those words are laid out in the virtual space in the same manner as with information sets and displayed as labels.

  • Patent number: 7158987
Abstract: A data retrieving part searches a database for data under the conditions for a search input by a user through a search condition input part. A classifying and arranging part classifies and arranges data (search results) using feature values. A ground information providing part provides each data with ground information visualizing the ground for classification and arrangement of the data. The ground information is, for example, visualized distribution information of feature values of the data, color histogram label information, and label information on wavelet conversion feature values. A display part displays each data together with corresponding ground information, in accordance with the information on classification and arrangement from the classifying and arranging part.

  • Patent number: 7106330
Abstract: After thinning an input image (drawing), a primitive is extracted. First, a rough primitive is extracted, and then the rough primitive becomes a primitive in a merge-split process according to a greedy strategy. Based on the primitive and the spatial correlation among primitives, an attribute graph describing the contents and the structure of the drawing is generated. The attribute graph is generated using a modified Delaunay triangle and an attribute set. An attribute graph having an attribute set is generated for each of an inquiry drawing and a comparison drawing which are compared with each other, thereby perform drawing comparison.

  • Publication number: 20060095411
Abstract: A rule discovery program which enables discovery of a rule by automatically searching for a feature portion which is effective for generation of a rule in multimedia data. When sample data items are inputted, a search unit selects evaluation positions on a data array constituting each of the sample data items so as to generate a selection pattern. Next, an integration unit integrates the evaluation positions in the selection pattern so as to generate a predetermined number of evaluation regions, and a rule-candidate generation unit generates a rule candidate indicating a relationship common to the sample data items. A rule-candidate evaluation unit evaluates the generated rule candidate, and an output unit outputs, as a rule, the rule candidate when the rule candidate satisfies a predetermined criterion.

  • Patent number: 6804420
Abstract: A plurality of thumbnails to be used as retrieval keys are indicated by a retrieving key indicating section. Respective feature vector of the retrieval keys are extracted by a feature vector extracting section. A retrieval feature vector selecting section selects, among elements of feature vector of each retrieval key, a prescribed number of elements in a distance average ascending order as retrieval feature vector. A retrieving section retrieves information stored in an information storing section by using the retrieval feature vector. An arrangement feature vector selecting section selects, as arrangement feature vector, among elements of feature vector of the retrieval key, the feature vector elements that have not been extracted as the elements of retrieval feature vector. Elements of feature vector selected in a dispersion descending order in the retrieval results are preferable.
