  • Publication number: 20110138980
Abstract: The invention provides a rotary-type punching unit that solves a problem of a prior art rotary-type punching unit that its punching torque is highly peaked in beginning and ending punching, thus disabling to punch a heavy paper or the like and degrading the quality level of punch holes. A blade surface of a punch of the invention is formed as an inclined surface inclined with respect to the outer peripheral surface of a punch shaft or of a die shaft such that a leading edge thereof is higher than a trailing edge with an inclination angle within a range of 5° to 15° (preferably 10°). A die surface of the die is formed into a surface of a circular arc centering on a rotational axis of the shafts. Thereby, the peaks of the punching torque are reduced and the quality level of the punch hole is kept high.

  • Publication number: 20100275754
Abstract: There is provided a punching unit that is readily adjusted, is capable of always punching high quality holes through sheets and is steadily capable of discharging punch chips. A punch shaft and a die shaft are disposed vertically in parallel between side plates and these very punch shaft and the die shaft compose structural members (reinforcing members) of the punching unit. The die shaft has a die shaft body formed into a hollow cylinder and is provided with dies that correspond to the punches of the punch shaft at an outer peripheral surface thereof while fitting into die holes penetrating to the hollow section. A chip discharging screw plate fixed to the right side plate is disposed in the hollow section of the die shaft. Punch chips are transported along slopes of the chip discharging screw plate and discharged out of an opening when the die shaft rotates.

  • Patent number: 5501082
Abstract: An improved refrigerant recovery method and apparatus by which a refrigerant charged in a refrigerator is transferred into a refrigerant tank are disclosed. The apparatus is adapted to discharge almost all the refrigerant gas from the refrigerator and purge non-condensible gases from a safety valve to the atmosphere with little refrigerant gas accompanying the non-condensible gases. There are provided a vacuum pump at the upstream side of a line connected between the refrigerator and a liquid separator, and a compressor at the downstream side thereof, the vacuum pump and compressor being connected in series with each other. The vacuum pump is intended to nearly zero the pressure of the remaining refrigerant gas in the refrigerator and the compressor is to give the liquid separator a desired internal pressure, thereby minimizing the amount of refrigerant gas purged along with the non-condensible gases to the atmosphere. Also a bypass valve is provided to bypass the vacuum pump.

  • Patent number: 5075066
Abstract: In a method of making an ornament, a metal ornament body having an internal groove opening at one end to an end edge of the metal ornament body and at an opposite end to front and rear surfaces of the metal ornament body is held between two relatively movable mold members while the one end of the internal groove is connected to a gate of the mold members and the opposite end of the internal groove communicates with mold cavities in the mold members. Then, a melted synthetic resin material is injected into the mold cavities through the gate and the internal groove. The gate mark is not formed on the outside surface of an ornamental member molded of synthetic resin but left on the end edge of the metal ornament body. The gate mark thus formed is normally hidden from view and does not deteriorate the aesthetical appearance of the ornament.

  • Patent number: 5067209
Abstract: A slide fastener slider includes a slider body having a mounting hole extending at least through the thickness of an upper wing of the slider body, a circular disk disposed on the upper wing with its central guide hole aligned with the mounting hole, a pull tab pivotally connected to the circular disk, and a headed retainer pin extending loosely through the guide hole and firmly fitted in the mounting hole to rotatably retain the circular disk on the slider body. The circular disk is substantially concealed by an enlarged head of the retainer pin and hence the slider is sightly in appearance. The mounting hole in which the retainer pin is firmly fitted extends through a guide post of the slider body so that the pull tab is firmly retained on the slider body against detachment even when the pull tab is manipulated with a severe pulling force.
