  • Publication number: 20240119867
Abstract: To achieve an improvement in security in encryption of an image signal obtained through imaging by an array sensor. A sensor device includes: an array sensor in which a plurality of pixels including light-receiving elements for visible light or invisible light are arrayed 1-dimensionally or 2-dimensionally; and an encryption unit configured to encrypt a read signal from the pixels of the array sensor. By encrypting a read signal, it is possible to achieve an improvement in security by enabling the image signal not to be stored in plain text in a memory.

  • Patent number: 8148144
Abstract: A vector developed to transform fungi can be used to study the expression of a gene of interest. The vector can provide for the expression of signal proteins in fungi that can be observed and/or monitored. The vector can be used to investigate the effects of RNA interference on a gene of interest in pathogenic fungi. Systems and methods of using the vector are provided.

  • Patent number: 6383656
Abstract: A preform for metal matrix composite material comprising: inorganic particles, small-diameter inorganic fibers, and large-diameter inorganic fibers. An average particle diameter of the inorganic particles is 1 to 50 &mgr;m. An average fiber diameter of the small-diameter inorganic fibers is 2 to 5 &mgr;m, and an average fiber length of the small-diameter inorganic fibers is 10 to 200 &mgr;m. An average fiber diameter of the large-diameter inorganic fibers is 4 to 20 &mgr;m, and an average fiber length of the large-diameter inorganic fibers is 10 to 200 &mgr;m. The small-diameter inorganic fibers catch and disperse the inorganic particles in a process of forming a formed body, and the large-diameter inorganic fibers create voids in cooperation with the small-diameter inorganic fibers in the process of forming the formed body.

  • Patent number: 5144800
Abstract: An exhaust manifold system is provided for a transverse V-type engine including front and rear banks, each having a plurality of cylinders. The exhaust manifold system includes a front exhaust manifold for conducting the exhaust gas discharged from the cylinders of the front bank to an exhaust pipe, and a rear exhaust manifold for conducting the exhaust gas discharged from the cylinders of the rear bank to the exhaust pipe. This exhaust manifold system may be produced by welding stainless steel pipes for the front exhaust manifold and forming the rear exhaust manifold of cast iron.

  • Patent number: 4453393
Abstract: A four high mill of a paired-roll-crossing type comprises upper and lower equalizer beams held in contact, respectively, with the uppermost and lowermost surfaces of upper and lower backup roll bearing cases and made movable upwardly and downwardly within a housing, roll-crossing devices mounted in the housing to turn the bearing cases that contain upper and lower work chocks about a common vertical axis on the same horizontal plane so that upper and lower pairs of rolls can cross each other, and devices for separately setting the left and right roll gaps between upper and lower work rolls. The mill further comprises work roll-bending devices mounted at both ends of the work rolls.
