  • Publication number: 20050218029
Abstract: An insert system for transforming a transport container into a habitable structure. The system includes panels that are inserted into an existing container, wherein an insulating cavity remains between the container and the inert panels. The cavity provides efficient environmental control.

  • Patent number: 6742664
Abstract: Construction system for providing load support in the transportation of goods in containers having a floor and a ceiling. The system includes at least one supporting beam and at least two telescopic bar organs, each having a first end disposed on the floor of the container and a second end expandable to the ceiling of the container, pressing thereby against the floor and the ceiling. The bar organs extend through the at least one supporting beam at end areas, and include a plurality of longitudinally disposed holes for locking a bar organ to a supporting beam at a predetermined height by means of a latch pin.

  • Publication number: 20020130099
Abstract: Construction system for providing load support for supporting against mainly horizontal forces, especially for use in transporting goods in containers, trucks, etc. The system has at least one supporting beam (12-15) connected to two longitudinally regulative, telescopic parts (17-20) fitted together. It comprises at least a couple of bar telescopic organs (17-20) expanding from the bottom to the ceiling of a container/loading room and can be regulatively pressed against these. The bar organs (17-20) regulatively extend through the end areas (16) of the supporting beam or beams (12-15), by virtue of the bar organs having rows of holes (23). Latch pins (30) can be inserted to lock the supporting beam of the bar organs in an arbitrary height.

  • Patent number: 6331090
Abstract: Device for establishing a gastight and fluidtight connection in a horizontal level between two or more containers (100, 200) of the iso-container type. The device includes a substantially band shaped, elastic sealing member (300) which surrounds an opening (20) between the containers to be connected and which is arranged on a supporting surface (105). A pressure exerting member (130) is provided to hold the sealing member (300) tightly against the supporting surface (105) with tightening members (400) to force the sealing member (300) against the supporting surface (105). The sealing member (300) in mounted position is arranged with a generally rectangular cross section and is placed against a supporting surface (105) on the respective containers, generally extending in the main level of the respective containers. The pressure exerting member constitutes at least four generally band shaped members (130) arranged at the respective flat supporting surfaces (105) of a container (100).

  • Patent number: 6164476
Abstract: Collapsible container comprising a bottom element (11) with openings (21) at the corners for disengagable attachment of two opposite gable walls (12, 13). The gable walls are connected to or are associated with supporting pillars (24) which are provided with slit shaped openings (31) for disengagable mounting of longitudinally arranged sidewall elements (14, 15) which have projecting hooks (28, 29) with notches (30) for engagement with the slit-shaped openings. Openings (39-44) are arranged in the bottom element (11) for disengagable attachment of a transversal partition wall (36). The sidewall elements (14, 15) each have a height dimension (A) which is one half of the width of the bottom element (11). The distance (B) between two sidewall elements (14, 15) is less than the depth of the notch (30) in the hooks (28, 29). The corner posts (22) of the gable walls (12, 13) are manufactured with a tubular profile with attachment slit openings (31) facing inwards, for attachment of shelves (33).

  • Patent number: 6102228
Abstract: A device for connecting two or more ISO type containers (101, 102). A support (401, 451) is arranged at each container (101a, 102a) to encircle an equivalent aperture (10) of each container to establish a land surface (402, 452) facing the internal cavity of each respective container (101a and 102a). The sealing means (201) establishes a continuous sealing extending from said first land surface (402) of said first container (101a), across the aperture (10) between the containers and to said second land surface (452) of the second container (102a), and along the entire perimeter of the aperture (10) between the containers, and being retained sealingly to said land surfaces (402, 452) by a first and second frame-shaped clamping means (301 and 351). The respective clamping means (301, 351) presses the underlying sealing means (201) towards their respective land surfaces fy fastening means.
