  • Patent number: 8704585
Abstract: A method for driving a field effect transistor for shaping an electrical signal, representing a sound, to an output signal is disclosed. The method comprises modifying the input signal to an intermediate signal, and output of the intermediate signal to the field effect transistor for shaping the output signal. The method comprises the steps of adjusting the quiescent point of the field effect transistor such that the same is placed in the quadratic region of the transfer characteristics of the field effect transistors, and adjusting the amplitude of the intermediate signal, such that the same causes the potential swing between the gate terminal and the source terminal to at least partly be in the quadratic region of the transfer characteristics of the field effect transistor.

  • Publication number: 20120308051
Abstract: Disclosed is a differential microphone pre-amplifier circuit (120) for providing an amplified differential signal at a first (A) and a second (B) output terminal of the microphone pre-amplifier (120), including a first voltage controlled current generator (101), a second voltage controlled current generator (102) and a third voltage controlled current generator (103) all being configured to receive, amplify and convert a voltage signal generated by an associated microphone (110) to a current signal output.

  • Patent number: 8321168
Abstract: A method for compensating the drift of an element for position measurement mounted on an object, including at least one gyro for measuring rotation of the object about an axis and at least one accelerometer for measuring two mutually perpendicular components of the acceleration of gravity as a consequence of the orientation of the object relative to the acceleration of gravity along two mutually perpendicular directions, which together correspond to the rotation of the object about the axis. The output signal from the accelerometer and the output signal from the gyro are low-pass filtered. These two signals are compared and the output signal from the gyro is compensated using an output signal from the accelerometer so that the deviation of the output signal of the gyro because of drift is decreased or eliminated. The thus produced, compensated signal constitutes an output signal from the gyro.
