Abstract: A method for producing a value T being representative of the mean engine torque generated on a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine includes the steps of producing a speed vector including values being representative of instantaneous speeds of the engine during a sampling period, determining a mean engine speed n during said sampling period from the speed vector, determining a value Px, being representative of the frequency contribution of the speed vector at the frequency x*n, where x is a pre-selected order, and producing a value T being representative of the mean engine torque on the crankshaft during said sampling period, wherein T is derived from a mathematical expression including a polynomial having at least a term k*n*Px, where k is a polynomial constant. A device for producing a value T is also disclosed.

Abstract: A clamp arrangement for a vehicle includes a shackle having two legs and a clamping device for clamping together and fixing a first threaded shaft section to a second threaded tubular section when the shackle is arranged on the second threaded tubular section in which the clamp arrangement includes a positioning device intended to interact with an opposing slot in the first threaded shaft section for rotationally locking the clamp arrangement in relation to the first threaded shaft section. A predefined orientation of a clamp arrangement in a clamped connection is permitted.

Abstract: An adjustable steering wheel, preferably for trucks, includes a steering column (4) on an upper supporting arm (3), which is pivoted in a lower supporting arm (2), which in turn is pivotally mounted to a windshield beam, for example, in the cab. A locking device in the form of a first and a second friction plate package (19, 11) with an intermediate conical spring washer package (30) locks the supporting arms relative to each other and relative to the cab. By means of a pair of levers (32, 33), a control cable (36) and a foot pedal, the spring package can be compressed to remove the locking effect of the plate packages.
