  • Publication number: 20220259393
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for making a carbon fibre from a paper product. The method includes preparing a cellulose-based fibre by crushing the paper product, dissolving the crushed material obtained in an aqueous phosphoric acid solution to form a spinning solution, and forming a cellulose-based continuous fibre by use of a solvent spinning process. The cellulose fibre formed in this way is subjected to carbonisation treatment in order to form a carbon fibre.

  • Patent number: 8316871
Abstract: A perforating device capable of perforating a process for perforating a fluid duct having a connector seat with a tapped barrel. The device generally includes a hollow cylindrical body, a cutting apparatus, a fluid passage and a valve. The cylindrical body has an internal volume, a longitudinal axis, a first open end, a second end opposite the first, and a threaded external surface. The cylindrical body can be threadingly received or retracted within the barrel such that the cylindrical body moves along the barrel toward or away from the fluid duct. The cutting apparatus is operably coupled to an end of the cylindrical body and is adapted to cut the duct by screwing the body into the barrel. The valve seals the internal volume of the cylindrical body in response to a differential pressure between the interior of the duct and the ambient atmosphere to prevent leakage from the duct.

  • Publication number: 20050252552
Abstract: The invention relates to a device intended to be introduced into a pipeline for circulating a fluid and comprising an operational element, a central connecting rod and a plurality of radial lugs, these lugs being linked to the operational element by means of the connecting rod and extending, under the effect of an elastic force, like umbrella spokes, to press against the inside of the pipeline. According to the invention, the lugs are spaced regularly around a same fitting, and the elastic force is at least partly constituted of a turning torque applied to the lugs through support means constituted, for example, by an axial spring pushing a stop washer mounted to slide on the connecting rod.

  • Patent number: 6962165
Abstract: A safety device for insertion into a pipeline (K) in which fluid circulates in an upstream (X?) and a downstream (X+) direction, comprises a tube (1) that provides the fluid with a central circulatory passage (CC) regulated by a central valve (3) that closes in the event of an excessive flow of this fluid. There is an annular valve closure member (4) which is elastically malleable, mounted to the external periphery of the tube (1), and provides the fluid with a peripheral circulatory passage which it selectively obstructs by subjecting a radial expansion in the event of an excessive flow of fluid.

Abstract: A safety device for insertion into a pipeline (K) in which fluid circulates in an upstream (X−) and a downstream (X−) direction, comprises a tube (1) that provides the fluid with a central circulatory passage (CC) regulated by a central valve (3) that closes in the event of an excessive flow of this fluid. There is an annular valve closure member (4) which is elastically malleable, mounted to the external periphery of the tube (1), and provides the fluid with a peripheral circulatory passage which it selectively obstructs by subjecting a radial expansion in the event of an excessive flow of fluid.
