The regimens use a first diet containing one or more dietary supplements suitable for mimicking caloric restriction when the animal is a young animal; a second diet containing one or more dietary supplements suitable for mimicking caloric restriction when the animal is an adult animal; and a third diet containing one or more dietary supplements suitable for mimicking caloric restriction when the animal is a senior animal; wherein the dietary supplements in the first diet, second diet, and third diet are not all be the same dietary supplements.
