Patent number: 9201947Abstract: Methods and systems for media file management are provided. When a plurality of media files in the electronic device are viewed, media data is real-time generated for the media files. In the generation of the media data, the media files are analyzed to obtain a theme for the media files. Then, a script file is identified according to the theme, and media data is produced for the media files according to the script file. In some embodiments, a frame buffer used for storing the media data is refreshed after each frame of the media data is rendered.Type: GrantFiled: March 18, 2013Date of Patent: December 1, 2015Assignee: HTC CORPORATIONInventors: Chia-Fu Wu, Jenn-Wein Wu, Wen-Chien Liu, Jing-Lung Wu, Hsin-Ti Chueh, Ping-Yao Liao, David Folchi, Casaundra Meyers, Symon J. METHODS FOR GENERATING VIDEO AND MULTIPLE STILL IMAGES SIMULTANEOUSLY AND APPARATUSES USING THE SAME
Publication number: 20140078343Abstract: An embodiment of a method for generating multiple still images and a video file in parallel is disclosed. A first series of images from an image sensor is provided to at least one buffer. A second series of images are captured in response to reception of a user input for performing a multi-capture operation. The process further provides the first series of images from the buffer for processing along at least two processing paths concurrently with the capturing of the second series of images. The two processing paths then process the second series of images, and the processed first series of images and second series of images are stored into a memory unit. At least one of the processing paths processes only a predetermined portion of the first series of images and the second series of images. Images processed by each of the two processing paths are stored, respectively.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 6, 2013Publication date: March 20, 2014Applicant: HTC CorporationInventors: Chen-Si DAI, Fu-Chang TSENG, Symon J.
