  • Patent number: 8375568
Abstract: A manufacturing method of the present invention includes ejecting a melt 61 of a solid electrolyte onto at least one electrode plate selected from a positive electrode plate 20 and a negative electrode plate 30, thereby depositing the melt 61 onto the at least one electrode plate, and compressing the positive electrode plate 20 and the negative electrode plate 30 while sandwiching the melt 61, thereby forming a layered body including the positive electrode plate 20, an electrolyte layer 62 including the solid electrolyte, and the negative electrode plate 30. In accordance with this manufacturing method, a thin lithium secondary battery having excellent characteristics can be manufactured in a highly productive manner.

  • Patent number: 6483819
Abstract: The present invention provides a radio communication system and a method thereof, which successively use the same frequency even when a plurality of mobile stations served by the same base station move and come close with one another and a space-division access system becomes unavailable which uses an antenna beam forming function of the base station. In the system, an access system switching unit is periodically started, and it initially clears the existing group relationships in a mobile station tracking-information table. The unit then examines the table and compares a difference of the directional angles of respective mobile stations with a predetermined threshold level. If the directional angles show a difference, the unit continues the examination with respect to other combinations of the mobile stations. If the difference is smaller than the threshold, the associated two mobile stations are grouped.

  • Patent number: 6345039
Abstract: In an asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) communications apparatus and method, the number of sound cells arriving from sound terminals via a sound traffic ATM line terminating unit is monitored, a rate calculation circuit predicts the number of sound cells arriving at a next cycle, and provides a prediction value and transmission rate at which the nodes, such as an ATM multiplexed transmitter and an ATM switched network, can transfer the cells. A data traffic controlling cell processing circuit sets a transfer transmission rate while relaying the data traffic controlling cells and notifies a data ATM terminal of the set transmission rate via t a data traffic ATM line terminating unit. The transmission rate of the data ATM terminals can be adjusted in accordance with the use condition of the lines by sound connections.
