  • Patent number: 8392302
Abstract: A computer system converts real-valued, inflation-immunized derivative terms to nominal-valued, non-inflation-immunized data. A stipulated index is considered in this conversion as a function of time. At an input device, real-valued, inflation-immunized derivative terms and a stipulated index as a function of time are received. Also received at the input device are input values corresponding to the real-valued, inflation-immunized derivative terms, wherein the input values include at least a quantity value and data from the stipulated index at a corresponding time. The computer processes these real-oriented, inflation-immunized derivative terms with the stipulated index and thereby produces nominal-valued, non-inflation-immunized data corresponding to the real-valued, inflation-immunized derivative terms. Nominal-valued, non-inflation-immunized data is presented by the computer at an output device for the computer. The inflation-immunized derivatives can be of various forms.

  • Patent number: 7752105
Abstract: A method using a computer system, and a computer system, computing tiered constant dollar instruments to finance a transaction. The method can include associating, with a computer system using input data, a first tier of one or more constant dollar financial instruments that do not finance a transaction and a second tier of one or more constant dollar financial instruments financed by the first tier that do finance the transaction, in producing output to implement the transaction.

  • Patent number: 7747489
Abstract: A machine and a method of using the machine to carry out specifying, with input to a computer system, a plurality of tiers and a private constant dollar instrument in at least one of a plurality of tiers; computing, from the input with computer system, aggregate cash flows for the specified tiers; determining, from the aggregate cash flows with the computer system, funding for a first of the tiers with a second of the tiers; and generating documentation of the funding with a computer system.

  • Patent number: 7702550
Abstract: Computers and data processing systems, especially pertaining to a constant-dollar financial product. Exemplary implementations include, a machine, a method for use and method for making, and corresponding products produced thereby, as well as data structures, computer-readable media tangibly embodying program instructions, manufactures, and necessary intermediates of the foregoing. Respectively, computers can use private, constant-dollar financial product data and nominal dollar data corresponding thereto, and communicate so as to cooperate (e.g., including transmit, receive) in computing a constant dollar to nominal dollar conversion for a financial product, the computers generating different output.

  • Patent number: 7680713
Abstract: System and method regarding controlling a computer system and computing directed to constant dollar instruments. The method can include providing a computer system including a computer connected to an input device and to an output device; operating a computer program, at the computer, that facilitates: receiving, at the input means, input information; determining, from the input information, an infill index; receiving, at the input device, input financial product information; processing, at the computer, the input financial product information with the infill index to produce data corresponding to a constant dollar financial instrument; and outputting the data at the output device.
