  • Patent number: 8373613
Abstract: A photovoltaic apparatus, through which an antenna is allowed to transmit and receive radio-frequency signals, includes a photovoltaic material and conducting electrodes. The photovoltaic material is used for converting photon energy into electrical energy, and the conducting electrodes collect and transfer the electrical energy generated by the photovoltaic material. The arrangement of the conducting electrodes forms a frequency selective surface placed in the transmitting or receiving path of the antenna. The frequency selective surface and the antenna have a spacing there between. The projection of the frequency selective surface in the transmitting or receiving path of the antenna covers the antenna.

  • Publication number: 20120043824
Abstract: An electromagnetic transmission apparatus comprises a plurality of electromagnetic coupling elements, wherein each electromagnetic coupling element has at least one resonant structure. The plurality of electromagnetic coupling elements are arranged that when the electromagnetic transmission apparatus is operated within a specific frequency band, an electromagnetic coupling device near the electromagnetic transmission apparatus within an electromagnetic distance can electromagnetically couple with the electromagnetic transmission apparatus by near-field coupling, and the electromagnetic wave of the electromagnetically coupling propagates along with the arrangement direction of the plurality of electromagnetic coupling elements.

  • Publication number: 20100295743
Abstract: The invention provides an antenna structure with reconfigurable pattern, which comprises a grounded plane, at least an active antenna electrically connected to an RF signal source, at least a current dragger electrically connected to the grounded plane, and a controller. The at least an active antenna and the at least a current dragger are distributed on or near the grounded plane. The controller disables or enables the at least a current dragger at an operating frequency band to switch the RF current applied to the grounded plane to flow into or against the at least a current dragger, thereby a plurality of radiation patterns may be configured.

  • Patent number: 7750830
Abstract: A calibration device includes a comparison unit, a counting unit, a memory, and a compensation circuit. A residue of a sub analog-to-digital converter is compared with a first and a second voltage by the comparison unit for generating a comparison result. A number of times of the residue voltage, out of bounds defined by the first and the second voltage, is counted by the counting unit in an ith period according to the comparison result. The number of times of the residue voltage out of the bounds in an (i?1)th period is stored in the memory. A clock of the sub ADC is adjusted by the compensation circuit into a direction based on the number of times of the residue voltage out of the bounds in the ith period and the number of times of the residue voltage out of the bounds in the (i?1)th period.
