  • Publication number: 20080094258
Abstract: The invention discloses an electronic system with a plurality of user-operable keys and capability of prompting the keys being touched. An electronic system, according to a preferred embodiment of the invention, comprises a user input device, a prompting device, and a processor. The user input device includes the plurality of user-operable keys. The processor is electrically coupled to the user-operable keys and the prompting device respectively. The processor selectively generates a corresponding prompting signal or a corresponding key signal based on the key-in action of one of the keys. When the corresponding prompting signal is transmitted to the prompting device, the prompting device generates a corresponding prompt according to a corresponding prompt. When the corresponding key signal is generating, the processor then executes an input instruction of the key.

Abstract: The invention pertains to an optical disc capable of storing the usage status of a label side of the optical disc. The optical disc includes a data side, the label side, and a plurality of partition marks. The data side is configured to read and write data thereon by utilizing an incident laser beam, and the label side is configured to form an image. The label side also has a plurality of partitions defined thereon. The partition marks are arranged on the label side and initially set in a first state. The partition marks are capable of converting from the first state into a second state. Each partition marks corresponds to one of the partitions. When the image is formed on the label side, the partition marks corresponding to the partitions where the image is formed are converted into the second state to indicate the usage status of the label side.

  • Publication number: 20070002124
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for recording an image onto a label layer of an optical disc by a laser beam. First, the method of the invention divides the label layer into a plurality of unit regions. For each of the unit regions, the method of the invention determines a recording pattern corresponding to each unit region in accordance with the data related to the image to be recorded. Finally, the method of the invention controls the laser beam to irradiate a relative energy on each unit region, so as to form the corresponding recording pattern. Thereby, the whole of the recording patterns formed on the label layer exhibits the image.

  • Publication number: 20060256685
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system for recording a datum onto a pixel on a light-sensitive sheet. The main component of the system is a recording unit, which further includes a light-emitting device and at least one light-guiding device. Once the light-emitting device emits a light, the light enters the light-guiding device from an entrance and is transmitted out from an exit. Before the datum is recorded, the recording unit is moved so as to align the exit of the light-guiding device with the pixel. Thereby, the light transmitted out from the exit of the light-guiding device is further projected onto the pixel to record the datum on the pixel.

  • Publication number: 20060227206
Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for recording an image onto a label layer of an optical disc. The optical disc also includes a data layer thereon that has a pregroove, in which a plurality of predetermined address codes are marked. Firstly, the system locates a first position by retrieving the predetermined address codes marked on the data layer. The system then determines a second position on the label layer in accordance with the first position. Afterward, the system records the image at the second position on the label layer by means of a laser beam or ink-jet printing. Thereby, the image is formed on the label layer of the optical disc.
