  • Publication number: 20050180732
Abstract: A transfer apparatus includes a transfer unit configured to transfer a data stream containing time adjustment information using a transfer method of transferring predetermined-sized data at a predetermined time interval, and a conversion unit configured to convert the time adjustment information into converted time adjustment information according to the time interval in the transfer method. The transfer unit transfers the data stream according to the converted time adjustment information.

  • Publication number: 20050122398
Abstract: To provide a storage apparatus that makes it possible to exclusively control external apparatuses that access a removable medium such as a memory card. In the case where a first external apparatus connected to a 1394 port accesses the memory card, the storage apparatus sets a USB port in a disabled state. In the case where a second external apparatus connected to the USB port accesses the memory card, the storage apparatus sets the 1394 port in the disabled state. As a result, the storage apparatus exclusively controls access to the memory card.

  • Publication number: 20020093693
Abstract: A recording system for preventing inconsistencies between the time information of the AV data which is recorded on the recording medium of the image sensing device (camera integrated digital video recorder and so on), and the time information of the AV data which is recorded on the recording medium of an external recording device. The image sensing device determines whether or not the AV data is recorded on its recording medium when the AV data is digitally output. If it is recorded, the AV data is digitally output with adding change-prohibited information. The external recording device determines whether or not the change-prohibited information is added to the AV data which has been digitally input. If the change-prohibited information is added, the AV data is recorded to a recording medium without changing the time information of the AV data.

  • Patent number: 6033072
Abstract: By providing a line-of-sight-information detection device for detecting an angle of rotation of an eyeball, an individual-difference correction unit for correcting the detected angle of rotation of the eyeball for each individual, an individual-difference preserving unit for preserving line-of-sight information in which individual difference is corrected, a line-of-sight-information processing unit for calculating a line-of-sight position based on the corrected angle of rotation of the eyeball and generating an event at the line-of-sight position, and an event transmission unit for transmitting the event to a host system, it is possible to use line-of-sight information as a new basis for controlling a graphical user interface. Thus, the user's hands are used only on a keyboard, and the functions of a mouse, which has conventionally been operated by the user's hand, can be provided by the user's line of sight. As a result, it is possible, for example, to improve the operational efficiency.
