Abstract: Provided is a broadcast receiving terminal (5), which comprises a reception processing section (21) capable of receiving a group of packets which are broadcasted repeatedly at a predetermined period without change in content, a demultiplex section (22) for selecting target packets from the group of packets received by the reception processing section (21), a TS packet analyzing section (24) for detecting, in the group of packets, a packet that has not been received normally, a timing specification processing section (41) for predicting rebroadcast timing of the packet, and an ON/OFF control section (42) for controlling the demultiplex section (22) so that the demultiplex section (22) stops an operation for at least a part of a period of time which comes before the rebroadcast timing has come and starts again the operation at the rebroadcast timing.

Abstract: To make a call, a calling-end terminal station (3) notifies a call-up control unit (71) of a communications network (7) of the terminal station number of a called-end terminal station (5) so as to cause it to stand by for a connection. The calling-end terminal station (3) notifies a calling party information server (9) of the calling-end-terminal-station number and the called-end-terminal-station number and instructs it to transmit to the called-end terminal station (5) calling party information stored in advance for the caller and called parties. The calling party information server (9) transmits the calling party information to the called-end terminal station (5) which in turn instructs the call-up control unit (71) to exit standby mode. This amounts to the communications network (7) calling up the called-end terminal station (5), resulting in the called-end terminal station (5) reproducing the received calling party information to alert the user to the call from the calling-end terminal station (3).

Abstract: An animation creating device creates composite animation, in which an object has been added to a pre-described animation image that includes a motion object, the animation creating device including: an additional object selecting section (14), which selects an additional object; a motion animation creating section (20), which generates motion animation, in which the motion object moves according to the selected additional object, using the pre-described animation image; and an animation composite section (15), which combines the motion animation with an animation image of the additional object. This provides an animation creating method and an animation creating device with a capability to create composite animation with simple operations and in a short period of time. An animation creating program, which is provided to execute the animation creating method on a computer, is recorded in a computer-readable recording medium.

Abstract: When a point (parameter) to be edited is judged to be present in the shape or moving state of an object (to be displayed) during reproduction of animation, the user selects the object on the screen (S201–204). Varying parameters (variation parameters; position, and the like) of the object are extracted during the reproduction of the animation and displayed on another display screen. The animation can be corrected by stopping it at a part to be edited and correcting the values of the displayed variation parameters (S205–208). Since the variation parameters can be extracted and the animation can be edited, edition of animation is facilitated.
