    Abstract: By detecting position information for a terminal device while an application is running, a range of movement during running can be detected, and the range of movement of the application is recorded and updated as the operation history of each application. Then, when display positions of icons on a display unit are to be changed, it is possible to determine, based on the detected position information, ranges of movement that contain this position information among the recorded ranges of movement. Then, the icons of the applications corresponding to the determined ranges of movement are reflected with priority in changing the display positions.
