  • Patent number: 7398878
Abstract: A case for accommodating a disc-shaped recording medium such as CD or DVD is disclosed. The case included a front lid opened and closed and a body formed with a central button and a holder including an annular piece formed with an engagement groove for engaging a fixing hole of the disc-shaped recording medium with legs. The annular piece is disposed around the button and the holder further includes a spring portion. A force acting so that an upper side of the disc-shaped recording medium is pressed such that the recording medium is depressed and rendered against a force acting so that the button is pushed upward via a second hinge by the spring portion. As a result, the button is prevented from being pushed over its toggle dead point and the disc-shaped recording medium is re-fixed to the annular piece by reduction and/or elimination of the external force.

The annular piece is disposed around the button and the holder further includes a spring portion. A force acting so that an upper side of the disc-shaped recording medium is pressed such that the recording medium is sunk is rendered competitive against a force acting so that the button is pushed upward via a second hinge by the spring portion. As a result, the button is prevented from being pushed over its toggle dead point and so that the disc-shaped recording medium is re-fixed to the annular piece by reduction and extinction of the external force.

  • Patent number: 5395123
Abstract: A system for marking a singing voice and displaying a marked result for a karaoke machine. The system comprises a data storage means, a comparison and marking means, a display means, a control mean. The data storage means stores a standard singing voice data on a basis of which a singing voice of a singer inputted from a microphone is marked. The comparison and marking means compares the singing voice with the standard singing voice data and marks the singing voice. The display means displays a result of a score of the singing voice marked by the comparison and marking means, and has a course which is composed of a series of display units and a goal display. The control means controls the display means.

  • Patent number: 4674347
Abstract: A torsional vibration absorbing device for a transmission, such as manual shift automotive transmission, wherein a friction clutch is provided on the output shaft within the transmission. One set of springs apply a constant resilient force to the friction clutch. Interengaging cam plates are caused to separate axially by increases in torque transmitted and another set of springs impose an additional resilient force on the friction clutch to reduce slippage upon such separation. The cams on the cam plates have helically shaped surfaces for full face-to-face contact and the slopes of the surfaces are different for forward or reverse drive therethrough to provide different slippage characteristics for acceleration and deceleration.
