Abstract: A color diffusion transfer photographic material which comprises: (a) a light-sensitive element containing at least one silver halide emulsion layer having a dye image-providing material associated therewith; (b) an image-receiving element capable of imagewise fixing the dye image-providing material as a result of exposure and development of the silver halide emulsion layer; and (c) a processing composition capable of causing development of the silver halide emulsion layer and containing a mercapto compound having a molecular weight of about 230 or higher; with at least one of the light-sensitive element, the image-receiving element and the processing composition containing a developing agent for the silver halide.

Abstract: A heat-developable light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least one layer containing (a) an organic silver salt oxidizing agent; (b) a catalytic amount of a light-sensitive silver halide or a compound capable of forming a light-sensitive silver halide through reaction with the organic silver salt component (a); (c) a reducing agent; and (d) at least one compound represented by the following general formulae (I) to (III) ##STR1## in which A and B each represents different substituents selected from the group consisting of an amino group and a --OX group; X represents a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal atom, a silver atom, a mercury atom or a gold atom; R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aralkyl group, an allyl group, an acyl group, an aryl group or an aryloxy group; and R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or an alkyl group.

Abstract: A method for forming photographic images of particularly improved sharpness in which a photographic element is developed in the presence of an alkylene oxide polymer and a compound of the general formula ##STR1## wherein Q represents the atoms required to form an optionally substituted, defined heterocyclic ring and R is as defined in the specification, or a compound of the general formula ##STR2## wherein W is a sulfur, selenium or oxygen atom or a group >N--R.sub.3, R.sub.1, R.sub.2, and R.sub.3 each is an optionally substituted, defined alkyl group and Z represents the atoms required to form an optionally substituted, defined heterocyclic ring.

Abstract: A photographic developer composition for obtaining high contrast images which comprises (1) a dihydroxybenzene developing agent, (2) an alkanolamine and (3) a compound having the following formula (I) ##SPC1##wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each represents a lower aliphatic hydrocarbon group, wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 may combine to form a ring, n represents 0 or 1, and X.sup..crclbar. represents an anion.

Abstract: A method of developing an exposed silver halide photographic material having a silver halide emulsion layer containing a heterocyclic compound having at least one nitrogen atom, having a thione group which does not undergo enolation positioned next to the nitrogen atom, and not having a nitro group in an aldehyde type hardening agent containing developer at a temperature of not less than about 30.degree.C.

Abstract: An incorporated-coupler type multi-layer color photographic sensitive material comprising a support and at least two photosensitive emulsion layers thereon which form images having a different color from each other on color development, wherein at least one of the photosensitive emulsion layers comprises two or more unit layers, with at least one of the unit layers containing a hydroquinone derivative. Interlayer color correction is obtained in the color photographic sensitive material.
