Abstract: A switchgear and an operating mechanism thereof which stably maintain a spring force by a shutoff spring, and reduce an opening time. The operating mechanism includes a main lever that rotates upon receiving the spring force by a shutoff spring released in a transition to a shutoff condition to move a movable contact apart from an opposing contact, and the main lever is linked with a sub lever fixed to a sub shaft rotatable around its shaft. The sub shaft is fixed with a latch lever with a roller attached to the tip thereof. The latch lever is prevented from rotating by a latch present on a movement trajectory of the roller. A weight is pushed against the latch in a separable manner, and the weight is pushed by an actuator to allow the latch to rotate, thereby being retracted from the movement trajectory of the roller.

Abstract: A rod integrator holder comprises a wall constituting at least a part of an intermediate portion interposed between a rod integrator in an illumination optical system or a holding member for the rod integrator, and an optical member disposed downstream the rod integrator or a holding member for the optical member. The intermediate portion tightly closes a space between a light entrance end of the optical member and a light exit end of the rod integrator against surroundings thereof.

Abstract: A pickup device having an improved high fidelity in sound reproduction is provided. The pickup device comprises a vibration-absorbing member which is attached closely to a part of the head shell base plate member to absorb harmful vibrations generated through the head shell in the cartridge.

Abstract: A pick up cartridge which comprises a cantilever at the end of which is mounted, a stylus a generating mechanism which is fixed near the supporting point of the cantilever, a pair of yokes which give a magnetic field to the generating mechanism, and a holder which holds the yokes directly and/or indirectly, wherein at least a part of said holder is made of very hard metal ceramic material. Viscoelastic material is also used to reduce harmful vibrations in the cartridge.
