  • Publication number: 20230397805
Abstract: An intraoral camera system includes an imaging unit that generates image data by capturing an image of a tooth inside the mouth of a user, an area detector that detects the orientation of the imaging unit according to output by a multi-axis acceleration sensor and detects, according to the orientation detected, an area whose image is being captured by the imaging unit from among areas inside the mouth, the areas being determined by dividing a dentition into sections, and an identifier that narrows candidates which are combinations of tooth types and tooth positions down to fewer candidates to be used, according to the image data and the area detected, and identifies the type and the position of the tooth according to the narrowed candidates and the image data.

  • Publication number: 20230329538
Abstract: An intraoral camera system includes an imaging unit and an image determination unit. The imaging unit generates an image data item showing a target tooth for image capturing inside a mouth. The image determination unit defines two-dimensional plane coordinates for the image data item generated by the imaging unit and extracts the position coordinates of the outline of the target tooth from the entire imaging area of the imaging unit. When a part of the outline of the target tooth is outside an effective area set inside the entire imaging area of the imaging unit, the image determination unit determines that the target tooth extends beyond the effective area.

  • Publication number: 20230165454
Abstract: An intraoral camera system includes an imaging unit and an image processor. If a first angle formed by an imaging plane perpendicular to the optical axis of the imaging unit and a first direction that is the vertically upward direction along a vertical axis is less than a predetermined second angle, the image processor rotates image data to cause the vertically upward direction along the vertical axis to coincide with an upward direction of an image by rotating the image data by a third angle formed by the first direction and a second direction from a handle toward a head.

  • Publication number: 20170308047
Abstract: A control processing method of an electric device for implementing an operation content indicated by an operation command received from a control terminal, the method including a step of discriminating whether the received operation command is a predetermined operation command, and a step of notifying the control terminal that the operation content indicated by the operation command has not been implemented without implementing the operation content indicated by the operation command, in a case where the received operation command is the predetermined operation command. Therefore, in a case where a command specification of an industry standard is designed, although the electric device receives an unsupported command, it is possible to obtain that the electric device is smoothly controlled.

  • Patent number: 7385496
Abstract: A monitoring system for preventing crime in a home, includes a plurality of terminals for monitoring whether predetermined monitoring points are in a stationary or nonstationary state. Further, the monitoring system includes a central processing device for controlling the setting/canceling of alarm operations of the terminals. The central processing device has a communication unit that receives stationary/nonstationary information from the terminals and transmits predetermined information including commands to the terminals. Each terminal has a communication unit that transmits stationary/nonstationary information to the central processing device and receives the predetermined information from the central processing device. Thus bidirectional communication can be achieved between the central processing device and the terminals.

  • Patent number: 5214781
Abstract: A system is provided for managing a storage medium on which management information, data and associated history information are recorded. The system packs and records history information pieces, which have been recorded on a plurality of sectors, on a single physical sector, or the management information is backed up at a predetermined time point, so as to reduce overhead required for reproduction of the history information during reconstruction of the management information and to speed up the reconstruction processing of the management information. Particularly, achievable high-speed processing for reconstruction of the management information during initialization leads to efficient management of an external storage unit of a document filing system or a computer using the management system.

  • Patent number: 5113512
Abstract: A system for managing a storage medium such as a write-once type optical disk in which addresses of logical blocks are assigned in accordance with the kinds of information to be recorded, and the number of physical sectors necessary for recording or reproduction on the basis of the logical block addresses. The number of physical sectors to be used can be reduced, improving the efficiency of the storage medium. Two or more kinds of information can be mixedly recorded in one physical block. The OS can manage the physical blocks as logical blocks in which the two or more kinds of information are separately recorded.

  • Patent number: 5107481
Abstract: Areas in an optical disk are classified into three categories including file areas, used areas, and erased areas for management purposes. An erasing process to convert a used area into an erased area is executed asynchronously with a writing process, thereby preventing any decrease in data transfer speed due to the effect of the erasing process upon the writing process. On the other hand, the file areas, used areas and erased areas are managed as continuous areas which are designated by the head position and the size or end position of the area. A file is preferentially assigned from an erased area or a used area of a large size. With such a construction, area management, such as an integration of the erased area or the like, can be easily performed. Also, the file can be assigned to the continuous areas, and the access speed can be improved.
