Abstract: An observation apparatus includes a case having a transmissive window, an image sensor, an optical system, and a light source housed in the case, and an optical deflection unit. The optical system is configured to condense light incident inside the case to form an image of a sample inside a container. The light source is configured to emit light to the outside of the case without passing through the optical system. The optical deflection unit is configured to deflect light emitted to the outside of the case from the light source to a first direction proceeding toward the transmissive window. An angle of exit between the first direction and an optical axis of the optical system is different from an angle of incidence between a second direction in which light emitted to the outside of the case is incident on the optical deflection unit, and the optical axis.

Abstract: To provide a vehicle seat in which the rotation device is disposed without compromising the passenger comfort in the cabin, a vehicle seat includes: a floor panel which has a sheet shape, constitutes a floor surface of a cabin, and has an elongated hole extending linearly; a slide device provided below the floor panel to be slidable along the elongated hole; a rotation device provided on the slide device to be rotatable about a rotation axis below the floor panel, the rotation axis extending vertically and overlapping with the elongated hole; a support leg which is columnar in shape, is provided on the rotation device along the rotation axis, and extends to above the floor panel by passing through the elongated hole; and a seat main body which is joined to an upper end of the support leg and on which an occupant can be seated.

Abstract: A power-assisted shovel truck is provided including a swiveling truck and a rotary bucket attached to the truck by a movable arm. A water feed pump and a water feed tank are provided on the truck for pumping water towards the rotary bucket. A conduit communicates with the water feed pump and runs along the arm to the bucket to feed a stream of water to the rotary bucket.

Abstract: An interlocking change-over valve system for use in a hydraulically controlled mechanism includes a plurality of hydraulic actuators and at least one valve corresponding to each actuator for controlling the hydraulic pressure supplied to each actuator. A hydraulic cylinder communicates with each valve for opening and closing the valve. A control device remotely activates the hydraulic cylinder to selectively supply hydraulic pressure to some of the hydraulic actuators.
