  • Patent number: 5417018
Abstract: An apparatus for constructing a building (K) is disclosed. The building (K) includes a framework constituted of permanent columns (10) and permanent beams (11). The apparatus (S) is provided with a temporary framework, (13) which is constructed and located above the building (K) under construction. Lifting mechanisms (14) for lifting the temporary framework (13) are provided at and supported by the permanent columns (10) of the building (K). Each of the lifting mechanisms (14) is able to lift the lifting mechanism (14) itself along the permanent column (10) of the building (K). A crane (12, 413, 511) is provided at the temporary framework (13) for hoisting and conveying structural elements (U) of the building (K), for example, the permanent columns (10) and beams (11). Alternatively, movable hoists (131, 607) are provided so as to transfer at least under the temporary framework (13).

  • Patent number: 5358568
Abstract: A spraying apparatus is disclosed, in which a manipulator consisting of a plurality of articulations (linear movement articulations and rotational movement articulations) is mounted on a carriage and a spraying nozzle member is mounted on the last stage rotational movement articulation, which are so constructed that material to be sprayed is supplied to this spraying nozzle member through a hose, and a piping path is formed in the interior of at least rotational movement articulations, for which it is feared that the hose becomes tangled therewith or twisted. A sensor is mounted on either the nozzle or the manipulator to detect the distance between the nozzle and the surface being sprayed. A controller responds to the signals produced by the sensor to maintain the nozzle at a substantially constant distance from the surface during spraying.

  • Patent number: 5107416
Abstract: For transfer of memory contents between an extended buffer memory and one of a first and a second main memory and of a peripheral storage device connected to an input-output processor, a transfer controlling arrangement can simultaneously receive transfer requests produced by a central processor, an arithmetic processor, and the input-output processor and can control the transfer requests. The transfer controlling arrangement comprises an extended buffer memory transfer controller connected to the central and the input-output processors through a first transfer controller, to the arithmetic processor through a second transfer controller, and to the extended buffer memory.

  • Patent number: 4953720
Abstract: A crane comprises a base, a driving body for driving and controlling the crane disposed on the base rotatable in a horizontal plane, an articulated arm attached to the driving body pivotable in a vertical plane, and a clutching means for clutching the construction elements. The arm is folded and extended in a vertical plane. The clutching means is tiltably and detachably connected to a forward end of the arm. The crane further comprises a fixing means tiltably and detachably connected to the forward end of the arm as a substitute for the clutching means. The fixing means is capable of being fixed to the construction, so that the driving body can be moved while the fixing means is fixed to the construction.
