  • Patent number: 7581406
Abstract: A system for distributing commodities such as foods requiring cold packing, such as frozen sea foods, chilled foods, cooled foods, etc., in disposable cold insulation boxes which can use ice and/or dry ice to cool these foods. This system comprises a packing facility for packaging commodities, into repetitively usable cold insulation boxes together with a repetitively usable cold insulating material, to produce cooled packages, a distribution facility for stacking resultant cooled packages for distribution to customers, a renewing facility for renewing used cold insulating material and used cold insulation boxes to facilitate their reuse, and a stock facility for stocking the renewed cold insulating material and the renewed cold insulation boxes, as components of the system, wherein each of the cold insulation boxes consists of a box body and a cover, and opening action proving tapes are stuck to straddle the body box and cover to couple them together.

  • Patent number: 6960363
Abstract: A treatment method for preservation of plant leaves wherein the plant leaves are immersed in a dehydrating solvent consisting of acetone and ethyl alcohol to replace the tissue water and remove chlorophyll in the leaves by the dehydrating solvent. Thereafter, the leaves are immersed in a permeating solution containing polyethylene glycol and acetone for allowing polyethylene glycol to permeate the leaves for replacing the dehydrating solvent. Thereafter, the leaves are dyed with a coloring matter.

  • Publication number: 20030017255
Abstract: There is a treatment method for allowing cut flowers to be kept appearing like natural flowers for a long period of time for the purpose of decoration, comprising the steps of removing the tissue water of cut flowers of roses or the like, allowing polyethylene glycol to permeate into the tissue once filled with tissue water, and dyeing. The cut flowers are packed with leaves for offering as merchandise. However, leaves are generally thicker than petals and their nerves act as barriers.

  • Patent number: 6365548
Abstract: The present invention is a treatment method for preserving cut flowers, which has a dehydration process for removing the tissue water of cut flowers using a solvent, and a permeation process for letting polyethylene glycol permeate after dehydration, to substitute the solvent by polyethylene glycol, characterized in that the dehydration process is effected while the cut flowers are fixed in a container having a proper amount of a molecular sieve spread over its bottom and filled with a solvent having a specific gravity smaller than that of water, wherein the specific gravity of the solvent is measured to monitor the change of the solvent in dehydratability, and the time when the specific gravity suddenly rises is detected as the time for exchanging the molecular sieve for a new one, to restore the dehydratability of the solvent, thereby allowing the solvent to be used continuously and allowing the dehydration process to be continued without waste of time.
