  • Patent number: 5717818
Abstract: The speed of an input speech is changed without any change of the pitch of the input speech. Raw data of a speech are stored so that the speed of the speech can be modulated continuously on the basis of the raw data of the speech. In the speech speed conversion method, a speech speed conversion process for the input speech is carried out in a period designated when speech speed conversion is needed, which the speech speed conversion is not carried out in the other period.

  • Patent number: 4956729
Abstract: A preamplifier circuit for amplifying a video signal reproduced by a magnetic head includes a positive feedback circuit for reducing an input capacitance thereof. A negative feedback circuit may be added thereto for stabilizing an operation of the preamplifier.

  • Patent number: 4918549
Abstract: An automatic cassette loading apparatus in which a tape cassette containing a magnetic tape is held and transported forwardly and returned between a cassette insertion position and a cassette loaded position. The number of switches is reduced by use of a rotary cam and a drive arm, and a drive motor and the switches are combined on the same printed circuit board.

  • Patent number: 4081834
Abstract: A horizontal synchronizing signal contained in a composite video signal undergoing a phase fluctuation is phase modulated and substituted for the original horizontal synchronizing signal. The phase modulation of the horizontal synchronizing signal of the input signal is effected at a phase modulation circuit and then the phase modulated signal is applied to an AFC circuit unit which has the same transfer characteristic as that of a horizontal AFC circuit of an ordinary television receiver set. The phase modulation circuit is controlled by a signal in response to a phase difference between the output of the AFC circuit unit and the original horizontal synchronizing signal. A composite video signal containing the horizontal synchronizing signal subjected to the phase modulation in this manner is applied to the television receiver set, thereby displaying a picture image free from the fluctuation.
