    Abstract: A fuse assembly is disclosed. The fuse assembly includes an electrically insulating hollow casing of a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape in outline, a fuse element provided within the casing and supported by the casing, the casing having first and second spheroidal concaves provided therein for facilitating reflecting and converging of shock waves into focuses at the time when an arc discharge is generated due to blowing of the fuse element and the shock waves are then produced, the first and second spheroidal concaves being disposed side by side along a longitudinal direction of the casing and overlapping each other in the longitudinal direction of the casing in such a manner that inner foci of the concaves are overlapped with each other, and a pair of spaced apart electrodes provided at both ends of the casing, the fuse element being electrically connected to the spaced apart electrodes and bridged between the spaced apart electrodes.

    Abstract: An air-fuel ratio control method for an internal combustion engine, wherein when the engine is in a feedback control region, a value of concentration of oxygen detected by the O.sub.2 sensor is compared with a predetermined reference value, and the air-fuel ratio of a mixture being supplied to the engine is controlled to a desired value in a feedback manner responsive to the comparison result. When the engine is in a predetermined high load operating region, the feedback control is interrrupted and an amount of fuel to be supplied to the engine is increased by a predetermined amount to thereby enrich the air-fuel ratio. The predetermined amount is increased when the engine is in the predetermined high load operating region and at the same time the detected oxygen concentration indicates that the air-fuel ratio is on a lean side with respect to the desired value.

    Abstract: A fuel supply control system for an internal combustion engine having a throttle body, and a fuel injection valve arranged in an intake manifold upstream of the throttle body for supplying fuel to all cylinders. An air throttle valve has a valve body having a notched opening formed therein and disposed to be opposite the nozzle of the fuel injection valve to increase the flow speed of intake air in the vicinity of the nozzle when the air throttle valve is fully closed. An electronic control unit controls the fuel injection valve in response to operating conditions of the engine. The electronic control unit causes the air throttle valve to be fully closed when a predetermined low rotation-speed operating condition of the engine, in which at least the rotational speed of the engine is lower than a predetermined value, is satisfied. The predetermined value of the rotational speed of the engine is set such that the lower the atmospheric pressure the smaller the predetermined value.

    Abstract: A method of controlling fuel supply during beginning acceleration and acceleration after the interruption of fuel supply of an internal combustion engine is provided wherein a basic fuel supply amount which is determined in accordance with stable operating conditions of the engine is increased when it is detected that the throttle valve of the engine is opened from its almost closed position. The method comprises the steps of determining a reference value by adding a predetermined value of the throttle valve opening to a detected amount or value of throttle valve opening when it is detected that the throttle valve is opened from its almost closed position. The basic fuel supply amount is additionally correctionally increased if the correctional increase of the basic fuel supply amount, which was initiated upon detection of opening of the throttle valve, has not yet reached an end when the detected value of the opening of the throttle valve reaches the throttle valve opening reference value.

    Abstract: An area setting device for setting coordinates of two points in a diagonal direction in one or more areas to be copied by a photocopier utilizing key operation in sequence, in which different colors are used for coordinate display in each direction. The same colors as the coordinate displays are used for coordinate input indicators. All the points are memorized as to whether coordinates have been applied. A key input is accepted for the first point not having coordinates applied, and this converts the memorized condition. Key input acceptance and memory state conversion are repeated for all the points required.

    Abstract: An ignition timing control method for an internal combustion engine, which controls the ignition timing, on the basis of a basic ignition timing value determined as a function of operating parameters of the engine. When a detected parameter value indicative of engine temperature is lower than a predetermined value, a correction variable for the basic ignition timing value is determined based upon detected parameter values indicative of engine temperature and engine load magnitude, to correct the basic ignition timing value thereby. Ignition of the mixture is effected at a timing according to the corrected basic ignition timing value. Preferably, when detected engine rotational speed is lower than a predetermined value lower than the engine idling speed or when it is higher than a predetermined high rotational speed value, the correction of the basic ignition timing value by the correction variable is prohibited.

    Abstract: A fuel supply control system for an internal combustion engine, having fuel injection valves for supplying the engine with fuel having its pressure regulated to a predetermined value. A temperature sensor detects a temperature value representative of the temperature of fuel being supplied to the fuel injection valves. When the temperature value detected by the sensor is higher than a predetermined value at the start of the engine, an electronic control unit causes a solenoid-operated selector valve to operate to increase the pressure of fuel being supplied to the engine over a period of time dependent on the temperature value detected by the sensor from the time the engine is started.

    Abstract: An electrostatic copying apparatus includes a paper jam detector for producing a jamming signal in response to detection of a paper jam, an emergency stopping device for stopping the copying process in response to the paper jamming signal, and a manually operable release switch for actuation after the paper jam has been cleared to release the stopping action of the emergency stopping means. A preparatory driving device, responsive to the releasing of the stopping action of the emergency stopping device by the operation of the release switch, energizes the main motor of the copying apparatus to move the photosensitive member of the apparatus through at least one rotation. A cleaning device, also responsive to releasing of the stopping action of the emergency stopping device by the operation of the release switch, cleans the photosensitive member during that rotation to assure that the photosensitive member is clean after the jam is cleared and before the next copying cycle.

A pair of projecting pieces are positioned at the side plates of a frame of the copying apparatus developing device.
