  • Publication number: 20040170415
Abstract: In a photoprint sales method or machine including image capturing means for capturing an image of at least one photographic subject, display means for displaying the image having been captured, editing means for letting the image be edited, and printing means for printing, as a photoprint, copies of the image having been edited and/or the image having been captured, areas dividing the photoprint are provided for allocating the copies thereto. With this, a photoprint corresponding to the users' preferences can be produced even if a plurality of users carry out the shooting together, and these users can cut the photoprint using scissors and the like and suitably distribute the same, without puzzling out how the photoprint should be cut.

  • Patent number: 6738567
Abstract: An automatic photograph sticker vending machine (11) is provided with a camera (21) for picking up an image of a subject, an illuminating device (22) for illuminating the subject, a display (16) for displaying various information such as the image, an input device (17) manipulated from outside for inputting information, and a printer (26) for printing onto sticker paper a photograph of the subject obtained by image pickup with the camera and discharging the sticker paper (33) having the photograph printed thereon. The camera (21) is provided at a ceiling portion of a region for image pickup (12) with a lens for image pickup directed downward. Thus, the camera (21) can pick up an image of the subject by looking down upon the subject from directly above so that a photograph sticker (33) obtained by photographing at an original angle can be sold.

  • Publication number: 20030218772
Abstract: The invention aims to enable a plurality of users to perform photography suited to the tastes of the respective users. An image printing apparatus and a server are connected to one another via a network. The image printing apparatus transmits transmission information for requesting delivery of predetermined contents (for example, photographed pose image data, BGM data and narration data), to the server via the network. The server delivers reception information including the contents requested by the transmission information to the image printing apparatus via the network. The invention is applicable to, for example, an image printing apparatus represented by Print Club (trademark).

  • Publication number: 20020149678
Abstract: The present invention relates to an image printing apparatus, devised such that numerous users can reliably and efficiently input editorial input. A first user utilizes operating panel 13-1, and a second user utilizes operating panel 13-2, respectively. Because an image photographed by CCD camera 15 is displayed on operating panel 13-1 and operating panel 13-2, each user selects an image he likes, and inputs image editing such as additional images by operating a control button displayed on the operating panel that he is using with a touch pen 14-1 or 14-2.

  • Patent number: 5987420
Abstract: The present system comprises a device which issues tickets, a central processing device and an entrance gate device which controls entry to the site. The central processing device establishes appropriate data representing the maximum carrying capacity of each attraction (i.e., the maximum number of reservations which can be given out). It does so by performing a fuzzy inference based on fuzzy rules using as fuzzy variables various uncertainty factors which influence cancellations and other events that transpire after a reservation is made, such as type of attraction, weather, time of day, day of the week and season.

  • Patent number: 5796618
Abstract: A machining information determination system and method for operating the same in which control data and optimum machining information of a machine tool can be determined automatically from the comparison of a model having the shape of a workpiece before machining and a model having the shape of the workpiece after machining. A CAD apparatus creates before- and after-machining workpiece shape information based on before- and after-machining models of the workpiece. Information regarding the material of the workpiece and stage of machining to be applied to the workpiece is entered via an input unit. Based on the information from the CAD apparatus and the input unit, a machining determination apparatus determines the optimum machining information for machining the workpiece. The optimum machining information and the information from the CAD apparatus is inputted into a CAM apparatus, which creates NC data, applied to the workpiece via a machine tool.
