Abstract: An unloader wherein a screw feeder is mounted on a vertically conveying section so as to be ascendable and descendable freely and bulk cargo is fed into a receiving space of the vertically conveying section through a discharge port made in the screw casing, characterized by (i) the discharge port which is positioned by discharge blades of the screw feeder and extended downward by the length of ascending/descending stroke of the screw feeder and (ii) a blocking casing which is mounted on the vertically conveying section so that the outer surface of the screw casing comes in sliding contact with the blocking casing and the blocking casing closes generally the lower half of the discharge port while the screw feeder is in its mounted position.

Abstract: In a belt unloader provided with a vertical carrier (53) for carrying bulk cargo vertically, a screw feeder system is supported by a supporting frame (14) connected to a body frame (18) such that the supporting frame is allowed to be tilted. The screw feeder system is provided with a screw propeller (2) rotated about the center of a shaft extending in the vertical direction for taking bulk cargo in, a loading orifice (23) opposite to the upper part of the screw propeller, and a releasing plate (13) disposed at the upper end of the screw propeller for releasing bulk cargo from the screw propeller toward the loading orifice. The bulk cargo taken in through the loading orifice is carried vertically with the bulk held between a descending belt (20) and an ascending belt (21).

Abstract: A belt clamp type unloader includes a vertical-horizontal conveyor assembly having a vertically extending portion and a horizontally extending portion, and a scraping section disposed at a position below a lower end of the conveyor assembly. In the conveyor assembly, two endless flat belts are combined such that their respective conveyance faces are superposed face-to-face with each other. Two tail pulleys are rotatably disposed at the lower ends of the vertically extending portions, and are spaced apart from each other transversely with respect to the direction of the breadth of the flat belt conveyor. A pair of pulleys which have a small diameter middle portion and large diameter opposite end portions are rotatably supported near to the lower ends of the flat belt conveyors but above the tail pulleys so as to press the flat belts into contact with each other, and another pulley is disposed at a bent portion at which the vertical portion meets the horizontal portion.
