  • Publication number: 20080296114
Abstract: A clutch assembly for a motor of an automated barrier has a clutch and an override switch. The clutch is connected to the motor and has a body, an engaging frame, a cam segment and an engaging gear. The body is connected to the motor and has a cover, a mounting bracket and a pivot pin. The engaging frame is pivotally connected to the body and has a gudgeon, a rack lock and two elongated holes. The cam assembly is pivotally mounted in the engaging frame and to the body and has a cam block, two cam disks, a cable, a lobe and a pintle. The engaging gear is rotatably mounted in the body adjacent to the engaging frame. The override switch is connected to the clutch and has a casing, a switch mechanism and a switch spring.

  • Patent number: 6758014
Abstract: Trellis structure including a frame body and a roof. The frame body is composed of multiple upright columns, press beams and support rods. The roof is composed of a ridge beam, multiple press beams and multiple support rods. The press beam is a hollow beam having an opening on one side. By means of multiple fixing members and bolts, the press beams are fixedly connected with the columns and the ridge beam to form a pattern of a house. The other side of the press beam is formed with a recessed insertion section. In cooperation with a press bar and a clamping plate, a light shading mesh is fixed around the frame body and on the top face of the roof to form a trellis with shading effect.

  • Publication number: 20030181283
Abstract: A planet-gear unit for a multistep speed reducer includes a rotary cylindrical carrier having a central gear extending forward from a front end thereof and a central opening defining in a back end thereof. The cylindrical carrier has a plurality of equidistant axial slots in communication with the central opening, and each of the slots is defined tangentially by partitions and axially by a front endwall and a back endwall. Each back endwall defines a bore open to the slot while the front endwall defines a through-hole aligned with the bore. Received in the slots is a plurality of planetary gears, each provided with a rotary spindle having two ends received in the bore and the through-hole. Furthermore, each through-hole is surrounded by a corresponding collar which is peened to narrow the through-hole, thereby confining the spindle in the bore and the through-hole.

  • Publication number: 20030181284
Abstract: A planet-gear speed reducer includes a rotary carrier having a first end and a second end. The carrier has a plurality of equidistant spacers extending outward from the first end and a wheel gear formed at the second end. The carrier is further formed with a plurality of first radial slots defined in the first end among the spacers. A cap is attached to distal ends of the spacers, and formed with a plurality of second radial slots aligned with the first radial slots of the carrier. Additionally, a plurality of planetary gears is received in spacings between the spacers, with each planetary gear formed with a central spindle rotatable relative thereto. The central spindle has a pair of opposed ends movable along corresponding slots of the carrier and the cap.

  • Patent number: 5855141
Abstract: A scrolling device includes a first disk, a second disk and a middle disk wherein a shaft extends through the disks and two setting devices are respectively disposed between the middle disk and the respective one of the first and the second disk. A casing receives the three disks therein and is driven by a motor which is controlled by two control members disposed to the first and second disk. Each of the setting devices include a base gear and a plurality of wheels each of which has a toothed periphery and a cam member formed in a first side thereof, and two teeth extending laterally from a second side thereof, a setting member and a positioning member pivotally and respectively disposed between the middle disk and the respective one of the first and the second disk. The setting members each have gears engagable with the wheels and base gear, and a plurality of plates engagable with the cam members to set the wheels.
