The present inventors have intensively studied to solve the above problem and found that, among polyglycerol fatty acid esters widely used as a food additive, a composition containing a polyglycerol fatty acid ester which has an HLB of 5 or less and is liquid at ordinary temperature and also a nonionic surfactant has a high effect on pests even at low concentration, and that the possibility for pests to develop resistance to the composition is extremely low, and the present invention has been completed.
