Patent number: 7403489Abstract: Disclosed is a mobile communication system including a network constituted of at least one switching center and a plurality of base stations, and a mobile station which communicates with the base stations simultaneously. The system permits varying transmission delay between the switching center and the base stations according to the type of services available to the mobile station. The object of the present invention is to propose a communication which permits varying transmission delay according to the type of service currently employed, and to promptly recover a synchronization state even if an out-of-sync state happens. To attain the object, a memory means (mobile switching center processor 32) stores transmission delay characteristics corresponding to services which are available to the mobile station.Type: GrantFiled: July 3, 2007Date of Patent: July 22, 2008Assignee: NTT Mobile Communications Network Inc.Inventors: Tomoyuki Ohtani, Motoshi Tamura, Takaaki Satoh, Hiroki Morikawa, Fumiaki Ishino

Patent number: 6947751Abstract: The present invention maintains the utilization of resources even in spite of the presence of a large number of communications each requiring a large amount of resources under multidimensional traffic conditions. First, the current traffic is measured. Then, a threshold value is determined on the basis of the amount of resources requested. Then, the current traffic is compared with the threshold value. If the measured traffic exceeds the threshold value, it is determined that the request cannot be accepted. In contrast, if the measured traffic is equal to or smaller than the threshold value, it is determined that the request can be accepted, and a process of accepting the resource request is executed to end the entire process.Type: GrantFiled: October 1, 2001Date of Patent: September 20, 2005Assignee: NTT DeCoMo, Inc.Inventors: Yoshihiro Ishikawa, Seizo Onoe, Takaaki Satoh, Takehiro Nakamura

Patent number: 5274462Abstract: A image input/output method for reading fine input data without increasing the amount of information and for reproducing fine image data from the input data. Data is extracted from every nth pixel in a line of pixels. The extraction process is repeated for n lines of pixels while sequentially changing the phase of the pixels from which data is extracted for each of the n lines. A single data line is formed by combining the pixel data extracted from the n lines of pixels.Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 1991Date of Patent: December 28, 1993Assignee: Murata Kikai Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Takaaki Satoh
