  • Patent number: 11268306
Abstract: A flush mounted handle assembly is provided for a power slide door of a vehicle. The handle assembly includes a case fixed to the door, the case defining a rear wall and opposing side portions. A bell crank is provided configured to coordinate selective power and manual operational modes of the assembly. The assembly includes a handle base having a first end and a second opposing end. The first and seconds ends are configured for selective pivotal movement in opposite directions about a fixed pivot axis to engage the bell crank. A pair of weighted paddles is provided, each rotatable about an axis independent from the handle base axis. One or more paddle biasing members is provided to bias the weighted paddles against the handle base, minimizing movement of the handle base in the manual operational mode upon an impact, or during an unintended rotational movement of the handle base.

  • Patent number: 11008908
Abstract: An oil passageway structure for internal combustion engines includes a cylinder head having an inter-bearing wall fluid communication oil passage for providing fluid communication between a plurality of bearing walls to allow oil to flow therebetween. The cylinder head further includes a bearing wall oil passage branched from the inter-bearing wall fluid communication oil passage to supply oil to a bearing surfaces of at least one of the bearing walls. The inter-bearing wall fluid communication oil passage is defined in one of facing side walls. The bearing wall oil passageway is defined in at least one of the bearing walls. The oil passageway structure is thus made up of a reduced number of parts, can be assembled with a reduced number of man-hours, can lead to productivity growth, and is inexpensive to manufacture.

  • Patent number: 10883445
Abstract: An internal combustion engine includes: a wall body that is formed on a crankcase to accommodate a generator by sandwiching the generator between the wall body and a generator cover coupled to the crankcase from outside; a casing that includes a casing wall, the casing wall being formed on the crankcase and, at a position apart from the wall body in an axial direction of the crankshaft, facing the wall body with a space contiguous to an outer surface of the crankcase sandwiched between the casing wall and the wall body; and a balancer shaft that has an axis thereof parallel to the rotation axis of the crankshaft, and is rotatably supported by the casing while one end of the balancer shaft protrudes from the casing wall into the space. Accordingly, the engine can reduce its weight by shortening the balancer shaft as much as possible without upsetting weight balance.

  • Patent number: 10738513
Abstract: A flush mounted handle assembly for a vehicle is provided, operable with both power and manual modes of opening and closing a slide door. The flush mounted handle assembly may include a case configured to be fixed in a recess of a power slide door of a vehicle. A dual-directional handle base may be provided, pivotally coupled to the case. The handle base may have a first end and a second opposing end. The first and seconds ends may be configured for a selective pivotal movement in opposite directions about a pivot axis. A bell crank may be provided, coupled to the case, and configured to rotate upon engagement with the handle base in order to actuate a switch assembly and to coordinate different operations of the power slide door.

  • Publication number: 20190376444
Abstract: An internal combustion engine is mounted on the saddle-riding vehicle. The engine includes: a cylinder head; a cylinder head cover; a fuel injection valve whose distal end is directed to a combustion chamber; a cam shaft; a fuel pump which feeds fuel due to an action of a cam which integrally rotates with the cam shaft; a fuel pump mounting member which is fixed to the cylinder head and on which the fuel pump is mounted; and a downstream side fuel pipe which feeds fuel from the fuel pump to the fuel injection valve and has flexibility. The above arrangement improves maintenance property by making a routing space of the fuel pipe compact by shortening the length of the fuel pipe while enhancing protection of the sides of the vehicle including the fuel pump.

  • Patent number: 10041699
Abstract: A forced flue heater draws out combustion gas using a burner fan installed downstream from a heat exchanger to prevent a burner fan motor from being heated to high temperature. The forced flue heater blows air to an air channel using a blower fan, and warms the air using the heat exchanger contained in the air channel. The pressure upstream from the heat exchanger is higher by a value corresponding to the resistance of the heat exchanger. The blower fan contained in an outer case draws in the surrounding air to lower the pressure inside the outer case. A partition separating between the inside and the outside of the air channel has an air outlet located upstream from the heat exchanger. This allows the cool air upstream from the heat exchanger to flow outside the partition. The air is then used as cooling air for cooling the burner fan motor. This structure prevents the burner fan motor from being heated to high temperature when the burner fan is heated to high temperature.
