    Abstract: In a reciprocating device, first and second power transmission units are provided on one end side and the other end side of a track to put therebetween power receiving units which are provided on a movable body being movable along the track. Thus, when the movable body is moved close to the one end side or the other end side of the track to separate the power receiving units far from the second power transmission unit on the other end side or the first power transmission unit on the one end side, the power receiving units are able to efficiently receive the electric power from the first power transmission unit on the one end side or the second power transmission unit on the other end side which is close thereto. Therefore, it is possible to reciprocate the movable body between the both ends of the track in a simplified construction.

    Abstract: A component supplying system including a plurality of electronic-component supplying devices arranged to read from an information indicator information, such as ID, that is related to the each supplying device. A guide unit defines the track extending in the direction in which the supplying devices are arranged and that allows the reading unit to be moved along the track. The reading unit detachably attached to the guide unit. The reading unit can perform a reading operation irrespective of the directions the unit is moved along the track. In addition, the reading unit can be moved manually. The guide unit is detachably attached to a component supplying system, and the reading unit includes a wireless transmitter 182 that transmits the read information.

    Abstract: It is intended to obtain a reading device that is used in a component supplying system including a plurality of electronic-component supplying devices, such as feeders, that are arranged, and that easily reads, from an information indicator such as a bar code that is affixed to each of the supplying devices, information, such as ID, that is related to the each supplying device. A reading device 100 is constituted by a reading unit 102 including a bar-code reader, and a guide unit 104 that defines a track extending in the direction in which the supplying devices are arranged and that allows the reading unit 102 to be moved along the track. The reading unit 102 has a small size and is detachably attached to the guide unit 104. The reading unit 102 can perform a reading operation irrespective of in which one of opposite directions the unit 102 is moved along the track. In addition, the reading unit 102 can be moved with a hand of a person.
