  • Publication number: 20170122777
Abstract: A magnetic position detection device that can detect position even if there is only one object magnet. A magnetic position detection device includes a bias magnet, a magnetic detection element, an object magnet, and a mobile object. Opposite poles of the bias magnet and of the object magnet face each other. The magnetic detection element is disposed between pole surfaces of the bias magnet and of the object magnet. The magnetic detection element is fixed to the bias magnet and has a fixed positional relationship to the bias magnet. The orientation of the magnetic field at the magnetic detection element changes in accordance with the position of the object magnet. The magnetic detection element detects the orientation of the magnetic field applied to the magnetic detection element.

  • Publication number: 20160022771
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a safety sensation-improving agent that can improve dulled peripheral sensations through daily ingestion or application to the skin. Another object of the present invention is to provide a sensation-improving food, beverage, feed, or cosmetics that can improve dulled peripheral sensations through oral ingestion or application to the skin. A sensation-improving agent containing a milk-derived protein and/or a hydrolysate therefrom as an active ingredient is provided. The milk-derived protein and/or the hydrolysate therefrom can be orally ingested or applied direct to the skin to improve dulled sensations, particularly peripheral sensations, and be formed into a sensation-improving food, beverage, feed, or cosmetics.

  • Publication number: 20150374797
Abstract: A skin sensitivity improving agent which is safe and, when routinely taken or applied to the skin, exerts an effect of improving deterioration in peripheral sensation is provided. The present invention also provides a food, a drink, a feed or a cosmetic for improving sensation which exerts an effect of improving deterioration in peripheral sensation when orally taken or applied to the skin. The skin sensitivity improving agent includes, as the active ingredient, a basic protein fraction derived from milk or a degraded basic protein fraction derived from milk. By orally taking the basic protein fraction derived from milk or the degraded basic protein fraction derived from milk or applying the same directly to the skin, deterioration in sensation, in particular, peripheral sensation can be improved. Thus, a food, a drink, a feed or a cosmetic for improving sensation can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 8933410
Abstract: A three-dimensional position-sensitive radiation detector is provided which has a three-dimensional array of photodetectors disposed on the surface of a scintillator block and which is capable of three-dimensionally identifying the position of light emission at which radiation has been detected within the detector. The three-dimensional position-sensitive radiation detector includes: a scintillator block including a central portion which restricts the direction of diffusion of light so as to direct the light in three axial directions and which has an optically discontinuous region, and an outer portion which is disposed on the outside of the central portion and which does not restrict the direction of diffusion of light; and photodetectors disposed on at least two outer circumferential surfaces of the scintillator block.

  • Patent number: 8779371
Abstract: A radiation detector is provided with a scintillator 2A containing a plurality of modified regions 21 and a plurality of photodetectors or a position-sensitive photodetector optically coupled to a surface of the scintillator 2A. The plurality of modified regions 21 are formed by irradiating an inside of a crystalline lump which will act as the scintillator 2A with a laser beam and three-dimensionally dotted and have a refractive index different from a refractive index of a surrounding region within the inside of the scintillator 2A.
