  • Patent number: 7676013
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a data transfer system capable of maintaining synchronization of the data during the operation of apparatus by performing the periodical adjustment for a DLL circuit without using a method of 8B10B. In a transmitting apparatus, a control portion switches a selector to start a readjustment for the DLL circuit in a receiving apparatus, if a counter indicates a readjustment interval time. In performing there adjustment for the DLL circuit, a pattern generator sends a pattern making a signal waveform a stationary wave through the selector for a certain time, and if the signal is made stationary, a readjustment pattern is sent to the DLL circuit. The DLL circuit resets the sampling timing, based on this readjustment pattern. The selector switches the normal data A and the readjustment pattern to be sent to the DLL circuit.

  • Publication number: 20090205943
Abstract: A panel switch includes an insulating substrate, a resist layer provided on an upper surface of the insulating substrate, a cover sheet, an adhesive layer bonded onto an upper surface of the resist layer, and plural push switches activated upon being pressed via the cover sheet. The resist layer has plural contact openings and a communication opening provided therein. The contact openings and the communication opening exposes the upper surface of the insulating substrate from the contact openings and the communication opening. The communication opening allows the contact openings to communicate with each other. The adhesive layer is provided entirely on a lower surface of the cover sheet and covers the contact openings and the communication opening. The push switches are accommodated in the contact openings, respectively. In this panel switch, the adhesive layer can easily be printed on the cover sheet and bond the cover sheet securely to the insulating substrate.

  • Patent number: 7465890
Abstract: A rotationally-operated electronic component in which a predetermined signal is obtained by rotating a roller-shaped operating dial, and a detent generating mechanism can easily be disposed even when the diameter of the operating dial is reduced. The rotationally-operated electronic component is configured in such a manner that the detent generating mechanism for the operating dial is stored within a recess formed on the left circular portion with coil spring being deflected, and with an urging force of coil spring, movable clicking member is brought into resilient contact with fixed clicking member on the outside thereof. Accordingly, even when the diameter of the operating dial is reduced, the detent generating mechanism can be disposed easily and the preferable detent feeling can be maintained for a long time.

  • Patent number: 7399937
Abstract: A movable-contact unit to be used in an operating panel of various electronic devices is disclosed. The movable-contact unit is formed of movable contacts directly held on an inorganic EL sheet. To obtain adequate tactile feedback from the movable contacts even in a low temperature environment, a holding section of adhesive is patterned on the underside of the inorganic EL sheet such that the area of the holding section is not less than 25% and not greater than 50% of the area of the movable contact. Then the movable contact is held adhesively by this patterned holding section of the adhesive.

  • Publication number: 20060176991
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a DLL circuit adjustment system that can adjust the sampling timing of a DLL circuit without causing any increase of the number of interface signals or amount of coding overhead and any reduction of the data transfer efficiency. On a transmitter side, an ECC generating section adds an error detection/correction code to transmission data and outputs the transmission data with the error detection/correction code. Of output channels of the transmission data from the ECC generating section, a data bit associated with the DLL circuit to be adjusted is replaced with a sampling timing adjustment pattern using a to-be-adjusted channel selection circuit and a selector, and the resulting transmission data is transmitted to a receiver side.

  • Patent number: 6778868
Abstract: A remote control system for a laundry appliance which includes a remote control device externally accessible via a communication network, the remote control device including a data base storing coping information used to cope with an abnormal condition occurring during operation of the laundry appliance, a laundry appliance control device connected via the communication network to the remote control device so as to transmit information about an abnormal condition via the communication network to the remote control device when the abnormal condition has occurred in the laundry appliance, and an analyzer for analyzing the coping information corresponding to the abnormal condition in the laundry appliance to infer a cause of the abnormal condition of the laundry appliance. When the analyzer analyzes a plurality of pieces of the analytic information, a higher priority is given to the analytic information corresponding to a cause of the abnormal condition with a larger number of times of occurrence.

  • Patent number: 6340801
Abstract: The disclosed rotary encoder includes contact substrate 31 and movable contact plate 32. Substrate 31 contains three fan-shaped conductive layers 34A, 34B, and 34C on positions having a same distance from the center of substrate 31. On the other hand, movable contact plate 32 retains three elastic contacts 36A, 36B, 36C, and rotates. The three contacts have continuity with each other and disposed at positions with a same distance from the center of substrate 31, spaced at a radial angle of 120°. When contact plate 32 is rotated, any two out of three elastic contacts 36A, 36B, and 36C consecutively contact with any two out of three conductive layers 34A, 34B, and 34C. Through the continuity, an electric signal is led out from terminals 35A, 35B, and 35C.
