  • Publication number: 20230128546
Abstract: A data processing apparatus selects content to be provided as a stimulus. The data processing apparatus includes a selecting part that selects the first content to be provided to a user as a stimulus from a plurality of pieces of content, and an acquiring part that acquires sleep data indicating sleep quality of the user provided with the first content selected by the selecting part. The selecting part selects the second content having an attribute different from that of the first content on the basis of a relationship between an attribute of a stimulus that the first content provides to the user, and sleep quality indicated by sleep data.

  • Patent number: 5251853
Abstract: A canopy for a paraglider or a parachute. The canopy including upper and lower sides and a plurality of ribs extending between the sides and made of a mesh cloth. The upper and lower sides and the ribs define a plurality of cells which are arranged adjacent one another. Each of the cells has an opening at a front end thereof for introducing air into the canopy. The mesh cloth of the ribs includes large and small apertures disposed therein. According to one embodiment, either the large or the small apertures are arranged in matrix-like groups which are separated from one another by the other of the large and small apertures. According to another embodiment, the large and small apertures are disposed in groups which are arranged parallel to one another in the vertical direction.

  • Patent number: 4541638
Abstract: This invention discloses an emergency shaft seal device wherein a packing ring of elastic material the inside diameter of which is larger than the outside diameter of a rotatable shaft is received in an annular groove along the periphery of the rotatable shaft to be free and not in contact with the rotatable shaft, and in the event of abnormal condition of a main shaft seal device used under the normal conditions, the packing ring is deformed by the pressure of a pressurized fluid applied to the outer periphery of the packing ring to be equally pressed to the periphery of the rotatable shaft so that the sealing is performed by the packing ring in place of main shaft seal.
