The terminal includes a grip portion for sandwiching the conductor. The shell includes a pressing portion for pressing at least a part of the grip portion toward the conductor. The grip portion has a Sn—Ni alloy layer. The Sn—Ni alloy layer includes locally projecting protrusions. The protrusions bite into the conductor.
