  • Patent number: 11212836
Abstract: Provided is a method for, upon transmission of a DSC message being instructed, enabling quick start of the transmission. The method includes; (1) instructing, upon transmission of the DSC message being instructed, an antenna tuner to start tuning regardless of whether being busy or not, and switching an antenna from reception to transmission after the tuning is completed, (2) performing busy check, and standing by for a time period defined in the standard, when a reception signal in a transmission channel is no longer a dot pattern, and executing these processes (1) and (2) in parallel.

  • Patent number: 4776687
Abstract: An apparatus for detecting ophthalmic disease such as a cataract in the lens of a patient's eye includes means for focussing a laser beam and slit light alternatively or simultaneously at a selected spot in the lens of the eye. The slit light is used in a monitoring or adjustment mode to illuminate the selected spot and its adjacent portion on which the laser beam is to be focussed for ophthalmic disease detection, thereby making easier the identification of spots to be measured in the lens of the eye.

  • Patent number: 4776335
Abstract: Disclosed is a laser spot projector for use with a laser coagulation system in which a laser beam is radiated as a focussed spot into a portion selected to be thermally coagulated. A laser source produces a laser beam, and a focussing lens focusses the laser beam on the selected portion in the form of a focussed laser beam spot. A variator lens is displaceably arranged between the laser source and focussing lens for changing the magnification of the laser spot depending upon the displacement of the variator lens. The variator lens is selectably displaceable to two separate positions where the image point is conjugated with the object point with respect to the variator lens. This arrangement makes it possible to selectably provide two focussed laser beam spots each having a different spot diameter.

  • Patent number: 4759360
Abstract: A laser coagulation system adapted for use in an ophthalmological treatment comprises a slit image projector for projecting a slit image into the eyeball of a patient to determine a selected portion of the eyeball to be coagulated, and a laser beam projector for projecting a laser beam onto the selected portion. Both the projectors include a common reflecting means which is divided into two side portions for directing slit light toward the selected portion to be coagulated, and a central portion between the two side portions for directing the laser beam toward the selected portion thereof.
