  • Patent number: 9760976
Abstract: An image processing apparatus generates, from the captured image, a plurality of images, which respectively corresponds to ranges of individual subject distances. The apparatus then applies image processing to at least one of the images in accordance with an instruction to change the shooting distance and field angle of the captured image, and generates a combined image that corresponds to the changed shooting distance and field angle. The image processing is applied to at least one of the images such that the size of a primary image in the combined image after changing the shooting distance and the field angle does not change.

  • Patent number: 9087239
Abstract: There is provided an information processing apparatus. An obtaining unit obtains positioning information from information associated with an image file. The positioning information includes positioning method information that indicates a positioning method and position information that indicates a position determined by the positioning method. A changing unit changes the position indicated by the position information. A determining unit determines whether or not an amount of change made by the changing unit is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold. An updating unit updates the positioning method information associated with the image file, when it was determined that the amount of change is greater than or equal to the predetermined threshold.

  • Patent number: 8810685
Abstract: An imaging apparatus acquires position information at regular intervals and records the position information in one route log file, and in a case that imaging is performed, acquires position information and records the position information in correlation with image data acquired by an imaging unit, and in a case that the image data with which the position information is correlated is to be deleted, extracts the position information correlated with the image data and records the position information extracted by the extraction unit.

  • Patent number: 8065613
Abstract: An image pickup apparatus in which when a decision button is depressed, a transfer confirmation screen is displayed without recording a selection record, and, when a shortcut button is depressed, a selection record is recorded and the transfer confirmation screen is not displayed. When one of image data recorded in a storage medium is selected by an operation of a user, a reproduction module executes reproduction for display of the image data, and upon a user transfer instruction and acceptance of the instruction by a queue, a communication module transfers image data to an external apparatus. When one of other image data recorded in the storage medium is selected by a user operation in the course of a transfer process of the image data by the communication module, the reproduction module executed a reproduction process on the selected other image data.

  • Patent number: 7158266
Abstract: In order that, even if a large amount of photographed images are present within an image pickup apparatus, processing of determining the degree of progress of transfer can be promptly performed with a slight burden, and a display of the degree of progress is not displayed, i.e., a display of progress of transfer can be promptly performed after an instruction to start transfer, a signal indicating the status of progress of transfer of data files is output based on the number of transmission directories acquired by a transmission-directory acquisition unit and the number of transmitted directories acquired by a transmitted-directory acquisition unit.
