    Abstract: A method of automatically transferring an elastic yarn from a full-bobbin to an empty-bobbin characterized in that the yarn transfer operation is performed in a state such that a friction roll is remote from the empty-bobbin around which a yarn to be transferred is wound, and the yarn to be transferred is wound on the empty-bobbin by stopping the full-bobbin.
