  • Patent number: 8701621
Abstract: There is provided a four-cycle engine which can appropriately circulate oil in an engine regardless of a tilted condition with a simple structure. A crankcase (4) of a four-cycle engine (1) has a crank room (41) which rotatably supports a crankshaft (10) and an oil room (42) which is provided adjacent to the exterior of the crank room (41). The crankcase (4) also has partition walls (43) and (44) which partition the interior of the crankcase (4) into the crank room (41) and the oil room (42), respectively, and a communication path (45) which communicates the crank room (41) with the oil room (42). The partition walls (43) and (44) each has a cross section formed in a substantially V shape, and the communication path (45) is formed at an apex between the partition walls (43) and (44).

  • Patent number: 8061250
Abstract: A miter saw includes a base section having a front side and a rear side defining a first direction, and having a right side and a left side those defining a second direction. A holder is movably supported to the rear side of the base section and pivotable in the second direction. A fixing mechanism fixes a pivot position of the holder relative to the base section. A guide bar section includes two guide bars supported to the holder and extending in the first direction. A saw blade support section is disposed slidable with respect to the guide bars and selectively position-fixable with respect to the guide bars. A saw blade section which is pivotably supported accommodates a motor and rotatably supports a circular saw blade driven by the motor.

  • Patent number: 7503246
Abstract: A slide type miter saw capable of easily switching operation mode between groove forming mode and ordinary cutting mode without generation of fluffs and cracks at an upper surface of a workpiece. A circular-saw unit supporting a circular saw blade has a first stopper bolt abuttable on a stopper receiver on a support unit for determining the lowermost position of the circular saw blade. The circular-saw unit also has a second stopper bolt for forming a groove of a desired depth in the workpiece. The second stopper bolt is movable with respect to the first stopper bolt. The stopper receives supports a pivot member or a plate. The pivot member or the plate is abuttable on the second stopper bolt in accordance with a moved position of the second stopper bolt for regulating a depth of a groove.

  • Publication number: 20060042444
Abstract: A miter saw having first and second laser oscillators. A base is provided for mounting a worpiece. A fence extends in a lateral direction and is fixed to the base and has a front surface to which the workpiece is to be abutted. A cutting unit rotatably supports a circular saw blade. A support section is supported on the base and is pivotably supports the cutting unit movable toward and away from the base. The first laser oscillator is provided at the base for irradiating a first laser beam to the front side of the workpiece. The second laser oscillator is provided at the support section for irradiating a second laser beam to a rear side of the workpiece.
