  • Patent number: 8934819
Abstract: A developing apparatus includes a developer carrying member for carrying a developer; and a magnetic member including a plurality of magnet pieces disposed inside the developer carrying member along a circumferential direction of the developer carrying member. The magnetic member includes one or more first magnet pieces having the same magnetic polarity at a surface opposing an inner surface of the developer carrying member, and one or more second magnet pieces having the other magnetic polarity opposing the inner surface of the developer carrying member. A total sum of the first magnet pieces is larger than a total sum of the second magnet pieces, and a ratio of the total sum of a volume of the first magnet pieces to a space occupied by the magnetic member is smaller at an end portion than in a central portion with respect to a longitudinal direction of the magnetic member.

  • Patent number: 8867967
Abstract: A development apparatus includes a developer bearing member which develops a latent image, a first room supplying developer to the developer bearing member, and a second room connecting to the first room via opening portions formed at both ends of the first room, with the first room and the second room forming a circulation passage circulating the developer. In addition, a partition wall partitions the first room and the second room, a replenishment passage connects outside of the circulation passage and replenishes the developer, and a discharge port discharges surplus developer from the development container. A replenishing screw is arranged in the replenishment passage and conveys developer in a replenishing port toward the circulation passage, and a ventilation port is formed at a replenishing port side outside of the circulation passage of the first room or the second room or inside of the replenishment passage.

  • Publication number: 20140246897
Abstract: A vehicle brake device includes a hydraulic pressure generating device, a valve device, a pump and an accumulation section forming an accumulation chamber connected to a fluid passage between the valve device and the hydraulic pressure generating device or to a master chamber. A dead band is set in which the change of force of the magnitude corresponding to the hydraulic pressure in the master chamber does not substantially act on a brake operating member. A characteristic representing the relation between the pressure and the brake fluid quantity in the accumulation chamber is set based on a characteristic representing the relation between the pressure and the brake fluid quantity in a wheel cylinder and the dead band so that, when brake fluid is flowing into and from the accumulation chamber, a force of the magnitude corresponding to the master chamber hydraulic pressure does not act on the brake operating member.

  • Publication number: 20120201577
Abstract: A developing apparatus includes a developer carrying member; and a magnetic member provided inside the carrying member and having magnetic poles arranged circumferentially, wherein on a center axis of the carrying member outside an end of the magnetic member, there is a region in which a magnetic flux density of a first magnetic polarity converges toward zero; and wherein a ratio of a volume, per unit length, of a portion of the magnetic member which has a surface magnetic pole of a second magnetic polarity which is different from the first magnetic polarity in a longitudinal end portion to that in a longitudinally central portion is smaller than a ratio of a volume of a portion of the magnetic member which has a surface magnetic pole of the first magnetic polarity in a longitudinal end portion to that in a longitudinally central portion.

  • Patent number: 5917630
Abstract: A remote control apparatus for use with an equipment which includes a master apparatus and a slave apparatus remotely located from the master apparatus. The master apparatus transmits a control signal to the slave apparatus so as to remotely control the slave apparatus. The master apparatus has a light-transmitting section therein which projects outwardly of the master apparatus. The light-transmitting section transmits a light signal representing a control signal generated in the master apparatus. The slave apparatus has a light-receiving section therein which receives the light signal. The light-transmitting section may be detachably mounted to the master apparatus. The light-transmitting section may be adapted to rotate relative to the master apparatus after the light-transmitting section has been mounted to the master apparatus. The light-transmitting section may include a plurality of light-emitting elements so that light is emitted over a wide area.
