    Abstract: A superconducting magnet, applied for a train side permanent magnet for a magnetically levitated train as one embodiment of the invention, comprises a coil structure including a superconducting wire wound into a form of a race track and impregnated with epoxy resin, an annular vessel member accommodating the coil structure, and a spacing member rigidly mounted in the vessel member so as to divide the interior thereof into first and second spaces. The coil structure is securely sealed in the first space, and the second space constitutes a liquid helium path.
