    Abstract: A simplified tilt-integrated suspension mechanism includes first and second supporting legs to support an upper frame and a lower frame on one side of a seat section, and third and fourth supporting legs to support the lower frame and the upper frame on the other side of the seat section. The second and fourth supporting legs each include a lower supporting leg portion pivotally connected to the lower frame, and an upper supporting leg portion pivotally connected to the lower supporting leg portion by a pivot pin and slidably joined to the upper frame.     Abstract: A seat according to this invention comprises a seat part and a backrest attached to a rear side of the seat part. The seat part comprises a cushion attached to a pair of side supporting frame members connected with each other. The backrest comprises a cushion attached to an inverse U shaped back frame. Each end of the inverse U shaped back frame is connected to each rear end of the side supporting frame members of the seat part. The inverse U shaped back frame comprises side supporting parts that are positioned in parallel and a top supporting part that connects top ends of the side supporting parts. Lower ends of side supporting parts are connected to rear ends of the side supporting frame members of the seat part via lower attaching parts, respectively. Each lower attaching part has an ear part that projects frontward. Supporting members connect between the side supporting parts and the ear parts of the lower attaching parts, respectively.

    Abstract: A reclining seat includes a first locking mechanism for locking a first backrest frame at a sloping position, and a second locking mechanism for locking a second backrest frame at the sloping position. The reclining seat further includes a first shaft for releasing the first backrest frame locked by the first locking mechanism, a second shaft for releasing the second backrest frame locked by the second locking mechanism, and a disengaging unit for transmitting only one-directional rotation of the first shaft to the second shaft. The disengaging unit includes a first plate mounted on the first shaft, and a second plate mounted on the second shaft. The second plate is engaged by the first plate when the first shaft rotates in one direction and is disengaged from the first plate when the first shaft rotates in the opposite direction.
