  • Publication number: 20160090063
Abstract: An occupant protection apparatus for a vehicle includes a door sensor that detects a defamation of a side door in a side collision and an occupant position detection sensor that detects a lumbar position of the occupant. A pretensioner is activated when it is determined from detection by the door sensor and the occupant position detection sensor that an intruding-object collision rear-end position in the side door is located in front of the lumbar position, and the pretensioner is prohibited from activation when it is determined that the intruding-object collision rear-end position is not located in front of the lumbar position. When there is a possibility that a clearance between the lumbar of the occupant and the deformed side door is insufficient, the pretensioner is prohibited from activation to allow the occupant to move at the early stage of a collision.

  • Publication number: 20140185298
Abstract: A strobe device having small variations in the amount of light includes the following components: a flash discharge tube having an anode on one side and a cathode on the other side, the cathode having a metal sintered body at an end thereof; a conductive reflector composing an external trigger electrode, and storing a part of the flash discharge tube; and a trigger coil having a primary winding and a secondary winding around a hollow core. A portion of the cathode of the flash discharge tube not including the metal sintered body is inserted into the core of the trigger coil. The reflector, which is connected to the secondary winding of the trigger coil, has a bottom in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the flash discharge tube in such a manner as to cover at least the region extending from the anode to the cathode and the metal sintered body.

  • Patent number: 8516288
Abstract: IO buffers that operate with an IO power supply system and cut cells that isolate the IO buffers from each other are disposed on the periphery of an always-on power supply area and a power supply cut-off available area. A signal indicating the holding of an IO output(s) output from the always-on power supply area is wired so as to go round the IO buffers and the cut cells. The cut cell includes a level shifter that operates with an IO power supply system. The cut cell shifts the level of signal indicating the holding of IO output so that the signal level conforms to the power supply system of IO buffers, and outputs the resultant signal to the IO buffers.

  • Patent number: 8055957
Abstract: An integrated circuit device contains a flash memory, a flash control unit for controlling the rewriting and reading on the flash memory, and a processor unit. The processor unit includes a normal mode and a fail-safe mode as the operating states. In normal mode, when a defect is detected during the verify operation after writing data onto the flash memory then any further use of the flash memory is stopped. In fail-safe-mode, when a defect is detected during the verify operation after writing data onto the flash memory, the error is corrected and flash memory usage continues. The operating state is normal mode, and when the verify operation detects a defect after normal mode erase operation, the operation shifts to fail-safe mode.

  • Patent number: 7315939
Abstract: To provide a microcomputer which is improved to enable the functional selection of a functional macro and the characteristic correction without the mask option, trimming, and dedicated terminal and to quickly start the execution of the microcomputer. The microcomputer includes a main clock signal generating circuit and a ring oscillating circuit which generates a sub-clock signal that quickly enters a stable state. Initialized data is read from a flash ROM synchronously with the sub-clock signal, the read data is stored in a set data register, and a functional macro for the functional selection and characteristic correction is initialized. It is possible to end the setting of the functional macro for a clock stabilizing time necessary for the main clock signal. Further, it is possible to quickly execute the program by switching the signal to the main clock signal just after the clock stabilizing time.
