  • Patent number: 9744920
Abstract: A floor carpet is placed on a floor panel forming a cabin floor surface. The floor carpet comprises a skin layer which is configured to block an airflow therethrough and a sound-absorption layer which is made of a sound-absorption material and configured to allow an airflow therein, the sound-absorption layer being provided below the skin layer to contact the floor panel at a lower face thereof. A space between the skin layer and the floor panel (a space portion where the sound-absorption layer is arranged) is sealed with a seal member which is configured to surround the sound-absorption layer. The seal member is pressed against the floor panel (tightly) by a pressing member which is fixed to a vehicle-body side with a fixing tool.

  • Publication number: 20090322123
Abstract: A single wire is provided between a pair of front side frames and a power plant, respective front ends of which are coupled to front end portions of the pair of front side frames. Accordingly, the impact load can be dispersed to the both-side front side frames in case the central portion of the vehicle front collides with the pole-shaped obstacle and the power plant can be suppressed from moving rearward.

  • Patent number: 7347475
Abstract: An automobile rear body structure capable of allowing a space created between a rear bumper reinforcing member and a line connecting respective rear ends of a pair of rear side frames to be effectively utilized. In this automobile rear body structure, a rear end cross member (30) has an expanded portion (31a) formed to expand rearward relative to respective rear ends (10a) of a pairs of rear side frames (10), and a rear floor pan (20) has a rear edge including a protruded portion (21). The protruded portion (21) is formed to protrude relative to the rear ends (10a) of the pairs of rear side frames (10) toward the expanded portion of the rear end cross member (30) and connected to the rear end cross member (30), so as to allow a luggage compartment space to be enlarged rearward relative to the rear ends (10a) of the pairs of rear side frames (10).
