  • Patent number: 9247025
Abstract: A method and device for guaranteeing performance of stream data processing wherein a latency guarantee and a processing accuracy guarantee are possible while ensuring a real-time property. An execution system determination unit evaluates an amount of data currently present in a queue of an input data reception unit, calculation time, and the processing accuracy. Then, during a query process, if the amount of data in the queue increases for some reason, and is likely to be larger than the requested latency, the execution system determination unit changes the system to a calculation system by which the latency can be reduced within a range that a final quality can be allowed, on the basis of the evaluation result. Under the condition that the accuracy is reduced, if the latency is likely to be greatly lower than the requested latency, the system changes to a calculation system having a higher processing accuracy.

  • Patent number: 9037905
Abstract: When reproducing the running state after a failure has occurred in stream data processing, all window operations are used while minimizing the storage amount necessary for obtaining backup data. While an operator is performing stream data processing in response to a query, a query analysis unit analyzes the operator, which holds the running state of the window, etc., and the recovery points of said operator. When obtaining backup data, a backup data management unit manages the capacity necessary to obtain snapshots of the analyzed recovery points, calculates the storage area capacity needed for backing up input data up to each recovery point and the storage area capacity needed to obtain a snapshot for a window that cannot be reproduced in that way, and records the execution state by selecting a recovery point which minimizes the total value of necessary storage capacity.

  • Patent number: 8966502
Abstract: Collecting log data efficiently by controlling the capturing event for an operation log on the basis of application layer information. A web server generates a response including an operation log capturing script and the information from an operation log capturing control definition table and a property capturing definition table, and sends the response to a client. In the client, the received information is forwarded from a web browser module to a script engine module. An operation log capturing module sets the information acquisition event handler on the basis of the forwarded information, captures a sequential operation log on the basis of the operations performed by a user in the web browser, and sends the captured sequential operation log to a log server. A log server module collects sequential operation log in an operation log table, and a log analysis module analyzes the collected logs.

  • Publication number: 20130346417
Abstract: The present invention is a stream data anomaly detection method for detecting an anomaly in input data received by a computer. The computer has: an input module for receiving the input data; an anomaly detection unit for detecting an anomaly in the input data; and an index management unit for calculating an index for the detection of an anomaly in the input data. The anomaly detection unit compares the received input data with the index and detects an anomaly in the input data when the difference between the value of the input data and the index satisfies a predetermined condition. The index management unit determines whether or not the index should be recalculated, and, when the index is determined to be recalculated, the index management unit recalculates a new index on the basis of the input data and substitutes the index with the calculated index.

  • Publication number: 20130263156
Abstract: In order to evaluate the service quality of an application, there are methods which acquire various types of events which occur upon a Web browser upon which an application is operating in order to analyze thereof. On this occasion, if all events are acquired/collected, a load is placed thereby upon the Web browser or a server which records the events. In the present invention, when the Web browser starts the application, a connection is made to an event handler which acquires events related to user operations or application responses. When the event handler detects the occurrence of an event, if the event has not been recorded in the past, the event is recorded as a log. In the case of another event, in case a script has been executed or in case data has been modified, the event is recorded as a log.
