  • Patent number: 8701345
Abstract: A greening system is disclosed for enabling plants/vegetation to grow only with natural rainfall, enabling a garden to be constructed on building rooftops, minimizing the applicable loads on the building and risk of leakage. Planting container 1 comprises box 2 with stickers 3 to carry perforated partition panel 4. The lower half of the container is constituted as water storage 5, and drain holes 6 are opened on sides of the container. Soil layer 7 placed on partition panel 4 is formed of light woody soil-based on charcoal 9 and humus timber chips for absorbing moisture transported from the water 8 stored in water storage 5 by evaporation or difference in humidity, to increase water capacity and reduce amount of water evaporating into the air. Charcoal 9 absorbs water from the air inside the lower half of the container to water the plants.

  • Patent number: 8209905
Abstract: A greening system us disclosed for enabling plants/vegetation to grow only with natural rainfall, without any particular irrigation facilities, enabling a full-blown garden to be constructed on building rooftops, minimizing the applicable loads on the building, and free from the risk of leakage. Planting container 1 comprises box 2 with stickers 3 to carry perforated partition panel 4. The lower half of the container is constituted as water storage 5, and drain holes 6 are opened on sides of the container. Soil layer 7 placed on partition panel 4 is formed of light woody soil-based on charcoal 9 and humus timber chips for absorbing moisture transported from the water 8 stored in water storage 5 by evaporation or difference in humidity, to have a large water capacity letting less water evaporate into the air. Charcoal 9 absorbs water from the air inside the lower half of the container to water the plants. Water storage 5 assures an amount of water necessary for plants to grow.

  • Patent number: 5835936
Abstract: A one-chip flash-memory device includes a flash-memory array, a communications unit for analyzing a serial signal applied to the communications unit and for resolving the serial signal into an address, a command, and data in parallel with each other, and a control unit for controlling rewriting, erasing, and reading operations of the flash-memory array in accordance with the address, the command, and the data of the serial signal received by the communications unit. Rewriting and erasing operations may be performed without dismounting the flash-memory from a circuit board. In addition, the area of the circuit board on which the flash-memory is mounted is advantageously reduced.

  • Patent number: 5475654
Abstract: An intermittent operation circuit provided with a charge/discharge means in which, when a central processing means stops the operation of an internal clock oscillating means, a charging is started after discharging stored charges, and provided with an interruption control means which starts the operations of the internal oscillating means and the central processing means when a charge level of the charge stored in the charge/discharge means is once lowered and then the charge level reaches or exceeds a predetermined value, thereby, when the central processing means is in the stop mode, the operation of the processing means can be restored, without operating the timer and the internal clock oscillating means, resulting in that the consuming power of the circuit system can be further reduced than in the prior art.

  • Patent number: 4642544
Abstract: A control circuit for driving a step motor with at least first and second phase coils each having corresponding phase control elements. A memory stores phase switching data and is connected to the phase control elements. A first counter supplies phase switching data addresses to the memory to identify the coil or coils and phase thereof to be driven in response to step driving pulses and a second counter supplies data addresses to control the ON/OFF of the phase switching data and hence the phase current value. An oscillator drives the second counter at a frequency greater than the frequency of the step driving pulses.
