  • Publication number: 20100313567
Abstract: In a gas turbine that generates rotational power by supplying fuel to compressed air compressed by a compressor and burning the fuel in a combustor and supplying resultant combustion gas to a turbine, a circumferential distance starting from a leading edge of a turbine first stage nozzle toward a trailing edge side of the first stage nozzle and ending at center of transition pieces of such combustors that are adjacent in a circumferential direction is set relative to a circumferential pitch of such first stage nozzles within a range of 0.05?S/P?0.15, and an axial distance between a leading edge of the first stage nozzle and a transition piece rear end of the combustor is set relative to the circumferential pitch of the first stage nozzles within a range of 0.00?L/P?0.13. By improving the relative position of a transition piece of the combustor and the first stage nozzle, both suppression of inner pressure fluctuations of the combustor and enhancement in aerodynamic efficiency can be achieved.

  • Publication number: 20100284818
Abstract: Provided is a turbine blade cascade endwall that is capable of reducing crossflow and is capable of reducing secondary-flow loss that occurs in association with the crossflow, therefore being capable of achieving enhanced turbine performance. A convex portion (11) that is gently swollen as a whole, that has an apex (P1) at a position of 0 to 20% pitch in a position of 5 to 25% Cax, that gently slopes from this apex (P1) toward a downstream side and a suction side surface of an adjacently disposed turbine stationary blade (B1) or turbine moving blade, and that slopes slightly steeply from the apex (P1) toward an upstream side is provided between one turbine stationary blade (B1) or turbine moving blade and another turbine stationary blade (B1) or turbine moving blade disposed adjacent to one turbine stationary blade (B1) or turbine moving blade.

  • Publication number: 20090092373
Abstract: A video player for limiting the view by a viewer not satisfying the view allowance condition allowing a young person to view a specific video. When a limited video viewing of which by a viewer not satisfying a view allowance condition is limited by limiting the broadcast time zone, e.g., by limiting the broadcast time zone to the midnight of when the young people are asleep is recorded, the video player inhibits reproduction of the limited video in a time zone other than the time zone from the recording start time of the limited video to a predetermined time. Since the limited video can be reproduced only in the time zone from the originally broadcast time to a predetermined time, any viewer not satisfying the view allowance condition is prevented from viewing a limited video.

  • Patent number: 5838843
Abstract: A multipurpose optical sensor including an even number of optical fiber bundles, and optical systems for converting light guided through optical fiber bundles and leaving leading ends of optical fiber bundles into a substantially parallel light beam in a direction at right angles with the axes thereof, and converging substantially parallel light beam incident on axes from a direction at right angles therewith and guiding the thus converged light beam from leading ends into optical fiber bundles in the form of guide light.

  • Patent number: 5095534
Abstract: A radio receiver having a frequency converter which frequency converts an RF signal into an IF signal. An IF filter filters the IF signal to provide the filtered output to a frequency discriminator. The discriminator frequency discriminates the filtered IF signal to produce a baseband signal. From the baseband signal, a voice signal is recovered and a data signal is extracted. Using the IF signal, a field detector detects an electromagnetic field strength of RF signal and outputs a signal detect signal when the field strength is higher than a predetermined level. A sync detector detects a sync signal in the extracted data signal and sync detect signals, a controller controls the bandwidth of IF filter so that the S/N ratio of the recovered voice signal is increased and the error rate of the extracted data signal is decreased.

  • Patent number: 4355419
Abstract: A radio signal receiving system has first and second signal receiving sections, the outputs of which are combined to provide a combined signal. The signal combiner has first and second input terminals for respectively receiving the outputs of the first and second receiving sections. First, second and third interlocking switches are interconnected so that, when two outputs are derived in a normal state, from the first and second receiving sections, the first and second switches are closed, with the third switch opened. When either of the first or second outputs is driven out of the normal state, the first or second switch receiving the normal signal and the third switch is closed, while the first or second switch, receiving the abnormal signal, is opened. This way, the remaining normal signal replaces the abnormal signal to maintain the impedance balance in the system.

  • Patent number: 4197496
Abstract: A pilot signal transmission system is disclosed in which two terminal stations transmit signals including link monitoring pilot signals to each other directly or through a repeater station. The terminal stations include a pilot signal switching section responsive to a detection signal from a transmitting pilot detecting section for operating in such a manner that if the detection signal is normal it transmits the output of the pilot transmitting section to the transmitting section, while if the detection signal is abnormal it transmits the output of the filtering section to the transmitting section.
